I'm guessing Jimmy Clausen is going to be moved down in the draft?

Eagles have been pretty successful during his tenure... 5 division titles, 5 NFC Championship appearances, one Super Bowl appearance...they haven't won the big one....but how could you not be happy with that?

    per Adam_Schefter

"Eagles wanted to do right by McNabb enough so that they agreed to trade him in the division rather than to the Oakland Raiders."

So the Eagles front office were such buttholes to McNabb that they willingly let him go to a division rival instead of sending him to THE ABYSS of Oakland.

    Yeah, what jerks.

You guys in Green Bay listening...?

It's nice that you are a fan of Kolb and all, but how much do you really know about Andre Ware, other than he was a flop. Did you see Ware play any games at UofH?

Ware Joined the Lions in 1990. How old were you in 1990?

I see what you're trying to say, but you have to realize it makes as much sense for people to throw the Ware/Klingler comparisons out there because they went to UH (15 years apart, no less) as it does for people to compare Wes Welker to Don Beebee because they're both white... or for that matter, Jerrod Johnson to Bucky Richardson or Earl Campbell to Jamaal Charles.

If you feel the comparison is apt, please let me know why, I'm honestly curious.

Unlikely, since they play in the same conference and stuff.

Has anyone started the "how long til Stephen A. Smith makes this into a race issue?" timer?

Or for that matter, a "how long til the Redskins sign T.O." countdown?

I am pretty upset the Raiders didn't trade Asomugha for McNabb.

I would have had so much fun as a boisterous Eagles fan who hates everything.

I guess I can take solace in the fact that Norval Eugene Turner is still coaching in San Diego, so that ensures no Super Bowl wins.

    Just like Marty.

When YausDirtyStache asked "Is Kolb Andre Ware v2?". I thought he was asking if Kolb was going to be a bust in the NFL like Ware. You answered "About all they have in common is the uniform". It sounds like you feel Ware and Kolb are completely different types of players. And I was wondering how you could come to this conclusion if you had never seen Ware play.

And by the way, I see no reason why you can't compare players of today against players from twenty years ago, it's still football and the game hasn't changed that much in twenty years. Ware and Kolb played at the same school, and both put up huge numbers in wide open offenses. So I see nothing wrong in asking if Kolb is the next Ware.

I always thought Ware was going to be a great NFL QB, so I was shocked and disappointed when he flopped.
