Adam_Schefter Filed to ESPN: Donovan McNabb has been traded to the Washington Redskins. Compensation still unknown. But McNabb's a Redskin
You can't build a team with non-draft acquisitions like that man. McNabb can't fix their problems. Redskins are insane.
makes total sense. They were gonna lose one of their QB's after this season for nothing if they didn't make a trade. Kolb is the future, so they had to move McNabb
disagree. They have a high pick and will still do some building through the draft. I think they'll have a chance at being competitive depending on their other moves
I foresee a good chunk of Michael Vick playing time in Philly. Kolb has shown flashes, but I haven't seen enough to make him a full time starter. They will go with him as the starter, but if he struggles can't wait to see Vick in action.
Great trade for the Skins if they are serious about winning now. But it's gotta be really weird for McNabb to go there from Philly. I'm sure the hatred from Skins' fans will turn to love very quickly. The Eagles finally make the decision to take a deep breath and have a rebuilding season.
Jason Campbell is the most mediocre QB ever. McNabb will be happy for about 3 weeks until the Redskins bring in a rookie.
This reminds me of when Oilers traded Moon to the Vikings and thought Commander Cody was ready. Hopefully it goes better for Philly then it did for us.
On ESPNEWS, Brian Seltzer just said the Donovan was the last player left over from 2004 NFC Championship team.
