I think I'd rather have the 14th and 18th than #10 by itself. We would be able to get two of Xavier Henry (SG), Hassan Whiteside (C), Armon Johnson (PG) and Solomon Alabi (C).

At #10 you get more quality choice but no real improvement in "tier" selection.

Buying the 18th pick from Miami would be sweet...

Too bad some teams that don't have draft picks wants to buy picks also.

Well he does say that they are all like his kids ;) So he's admitting to his bias!

Yeah.. but for some reason I am not feeling as much love from Cal for Dan Orton than he does the other kids. I think Orton is adopted.

agreed. but, if someone slips it's a good option for both teams to get what they want. pacers can get bradley or bledsoe at #14 and the rockets might see someone from a higher tier slip to #10 and jump on it. same for #8 with the clippers, they can get one of the 4 wing players at #14 without reaching for them at #8... of course, it's only worth it for the rockets if they can land a higher tier player.

If we draft Bledsoe is it safe to say that the Rockets won't be resigning Lowry? Even though Darly Morey said he'd match any offer for Kyle and Scola, it would make things very interesting to see what would happen if we drafted Bledsoe.

He was... from Billy Clyde ;)

Daniel lost a lot of respect from me when he shoved off not finishing the school year. But I wasn't completely enamored of him to begin with... I don't like people who aren't genuine and I don't know if it's because he suffered a lot of losses in the two years before he came to UK or what, but I always felt like he was putting on a mask rather than being himself.

Interesting...the 18th is also on the market. Miami willing to sell their pick for cash and Boston wanting a future pick. No doubt Morey is already on this. ;)

Apparently Minnesota is offering 16+23+Al Jefferson to Detroit for 7+Tayshaun Prince+Chris Wilcox. Not sure Detroit goes for that..

I guess Patrick is also adopted? But he does his chores and never complain so Cal probably didn't mind him much.

What Minnesota doesn't get is that Al Jefferson with his contract, injury history and limitations currently has negative value.

nah... patrick is a well behaved foster kid... they need love too! LOL Patrick wasn't recruited by Billy Clyde... he was a Tubby find. But he wanted to come to UK so he stayed when BCG was hired.

Also heard that GS has a trade offer on the table to move Gadzuric and Biedrins to Denver for Kenyon Martin. Can't be done till August 22nd.

Hearing some chatter from a trusted NBA source about a potential Gilbert Arenas for Vince Carter trade in the works. Wonder how real it is.
