    Francis' salary is making this happen so he can't be pulled. Get this deal done and go after Brent Barry to run the point.

    Yao = $$$$.

    Never, ever forget that.

    Stupid Cat and Steve couldn't handle it. Bye bye.

    Tmac sees the green. He has 2 billion reasons to love Yao.

    Just because T-Mac won't sign an extension with anyone but Houston doesn't mean Orlando is going to take crap in a trade. They would, I'm sure, rather keep him for the season and let him walk then take on a stupid trade just to move him.

    Better to let him go and get the cap space at the worst.

    Quit with the Steve, T-mac, and Yao fantasy lineups. That wouldn't even work basketballwise. Steve and T-Mac would be like the parents fighting over the ball, and Yao will be the little tyke in the corner trying to stay out of the way and covering his ears with his hands.

    Cato is a true Center if you team up with Emeka would be a very good frontline and you could always trade mobley to a contender at the dead line for young talent.

    I think we should bend them over a little bit and keep mobley.

    Because the Magic still hold some cards as well. They can trade McGrady to a team willing to "rent" him for a season. There are definitely teams that will take the risk and try to use the Bird Rights they acquire to outbid the handful of teams with big time cap space next season.

    It's similar to Kobe. He must weigh the fact that the Lakers can pay him more than any one else or he can sign with a team that has serious cap $....PHX, DEN, ATL, UTAH, LAC...McGrady may be faced with those or similar teams next summer.

    The Magic could also blow off the season (like PHX did last year) and trade McGrady for all expiring contracts and have Okafor and serious cap space next summer...especially if Hill retires. Plus another Lottery pick.

    McGrady holds most of the trump cards, but he does not hold them all.

    That's the best comment so far, I just love it. Meanwhile I am wondering what Yao's reaction would be, if he knows that Rocket fans see him as a pimp, a golden one, certainly in a very positive way:)

    Ditto, maybe offer somebody else in there in his place (Jim Jackson, Nachbar, Griffin, Spoon, whatever).

    I really think we have enough firepower even after giving up mobley. Yao and Tmac will have their shots, and JJ, Howard/Mo, and whoever plays the point will definately be able to score. Now, our concern is defense. Will Yao step up and start dominating the paint? Will we sign Skinner (who i like) or a guy who can play D and block some shots? Offense is not an issue for us after this trade.
