Yes, they do an excellent job with the NFL, but their NBA coverage sucked donkey balls' sweat.

You have Ernie, Kenny, and Charles for entertainment to go along with Hubie(someone else now) and other analysts to actually discuss the person and team.

Damn, I only saw the first round, but the analysis on every damn player was practically the same(minus the first 3).
...errrrr.....good athletic ability, needs to work on his shot, strong ability to penetrate, etc....
Every once in a while they'd bring up some minor injury the player may have suffered.
And who was that one white guy(sorry forgot his name) that they went to after every player was selected.
He was like a bootleg David A.
Can't forget about those excellent interviews with the players.

oh well, I guess a pitiful league deserves such coverage.
    :p

And while Michelle TaFoya isn't ugly, if you want to give me eye candy, give me EYE CANDY!
    Otherwise, I prefer Craig Segar.
His little side stories are much more interesting than anything that happened on this draft.
Also, Barkley needs someone's wardrobe to clown.

    :)

yeah, the scrolling bar on the left side of the screen was useless and annoying. I think they called it "the matrix". funny how a word like matrix is suddenly the coolest word on the face of the earth. first, shawn marion got his nickname from it. then, someone released an SUV called "the matrix". Also, we've got lame shows coming on TV called "threat matrix". Now, they call the little scrolling bar at the left of our screen "the matrix". now they've just gone too far! is anyone else tired of this hot buzzword that must be thrown in whenever possible in order to make a buck?

Worse than the ESPN coverage were those annoying NBA Live 2004 commercials with "The Rookies" and the BAD technicolor 70's uniforms. I wanted to kill myself after watching 3 hours of that with 3 seconds of Rockets information.

I don't know if it was bad, but it was definitely boring. I don't remember having to leave the room multiple times last year out of sheer boredom. At least Charles was entertaining. The main thing that was good about ESPN was Bilas, otherwise I didn't care that much.

I liked it when Hubie Brown did the analysis. He was fair and pretty accurate. Although he did use the term, "upside" a little too much.

The only thing I didn't like was Tolbert and Dick Vitale. Bring back MTV's celebrity death match.

As for TNT, I think it works because of Ernie and Kenny. Barkley is just trash and should be swept under the carpet.

It was horrible. Most of it was fluff ****.

and DikV: "teams are going to regret passing on american players. they don't know what they're getting."

more like you don't know what you're talking about dip****.

The nfl draft this year was pretty badly done too.
