I'd respect his opinion, but Grizzlies at 2? Not having it.

Clippers at 1 and Grizzlies at 2 is almost as stupid. The Clips will be 3rd or 4th seed, definitely behind the Spurs and OKC, and maybe behind the Rockets. They haven't gotten better other than adding Doc, and adding Doc isn't nearly as big of a deal as some of these idiot writers think. The coach doesn't make that big of a difference in the NBA, maybe a few wins at most.

The Grizz are the same as last year except all their guys are one season older (not good when you're already late 20's/early 30's) and everyone but them got better in the offseason. I see the Grizz in a low seed, around 6 or 7.

Right now the Rockets could fall anywhere from #1 to #4. We are the biggest wild card in the playoff race because nobody has seen yet how well we will play with Dwight. We will not be 5th seed

Well, since the top 5 teams in the West, if healthy, will probably be separated by 6 or so wins, predicting who will come out on top is just a crap shot.

I think we finish above the Clippers, they lose to MEM again, and CP3 regrets staying in LA for the next 5 years.

Obviously this thread is here for us to get pissy and be homers. I don't really care. I have Houston at 4 myself, what's the difference?

Grizzlies at 2 is a really, really weird pick in my opinion. But the other three teams I have over Houston myself.

    1. Thunder
    2. Spurs
    3. Clippers
    4. Rockets
    5. Warriors
    6. Grizzlies
    7. Timberwolves
    8. Trail Blazers
    9. Mavericks
    10. Nuggets
    11. Pelicans
    12. Lakers
    13. Kings
    14. Jazz
    15. Suns

They arguably downgraded. Lost a decent coach, and ZBo's a year older. Unless Tony Allen found a way to score other than right hand layups, they're worse than last season.

I think it's more than fair to put all of those teams above the Rockets until they show what they can do.

Pretty much. Rockets at #5 is probably the least egregious part of his list. But then, writers don't get page-views by stating the obvious.

Yeah, cause....going 25-5 vs the Western Conference last year for an even higher winning percentage than their record against the East, shows how truly easy the Heat have it....

We need a better coach. Kevin is a good big guy coach with Hakeem..someone like Sloan
