    I can't wait to here all the "if Dirk, Josh, Jason can stay healthy" talk instead of the "if Yao/Tmac can stay healthy" excuses thats "experts" have been blabbering about.

    On a serious note Dallas is having one heck of a meltdown. Haven't seen any of the games so I cannot comment on what they are doing wrong but 0-4 start for the defending WC champs is a very bad sign. You would think this team would have something to prove after the meltdown in the finals.

    But maybe they are proving something......that the meltdown in the finals was no fluke and that they are mentally weak as a team.

    Keep up the good work Mavs, we appreciate your lack of effort. :cool:

    Dunleavy was a genius putting Cat on Dirk. Who would've thought of using a 6'4 guy to guard a 7-fter? And Cat was awesome on both ends!

    Well to be honest, and believe me I hate the Mavs as much as the next guy, but they started off with a tough schedule. In the first five games they play the other three top teams in the conference and a promising Rockets team that could end up in the top 5. The only team they should have beat was the Warriors...oh hell who am I kidding The MAVS SUCK!

    when the mavs forget to play defense, they lose. they still have that don nelson team in them, somewhere.

    but you all know they're gonna get it together at some point. as much as i hate to say it. i don't know if they're gonna defend their conference championship...frankly, i doubted it before the season started. but they're not THIS bad, clearly.

    They have been absolutely dominated in the first four games. Personally, I find this to be very enjoyable for myself. i absolutely hate the Mavs, like most everyone on here. They are a bunch of whiney floppers with whiney commentators and whiney fans. If I see Dirk stick his tongue out like a rock star one more time, I will personally drive up to Dallas and beat the living **** out of him.

    We should start a tipjar for finalsbound to pay for the gas... ahh, what the hell - I'll cover your gas. Someone else needs to put up bail money though.

    It would be more poetic if Dirk would break his foot while kicking an excercise bike though...
