Completely agree. Outside of Barry, he is the only proven winner we have on this team.

I still crack a smile when I think about how San Antonio gave us Scola basically for financial reasons. Scola and Ginobilli together is madness!

My only issue on his shot selection is that he sometimes passes up wide open jumpers at the elbow. He also has been much improved this year when it comes to his play under the basket on the offensive side. Last year he was really bad at making his shots under the basket extremely difficult. He seems to have curbed that somewhat this year. His improvement is a good reason to continue watching the team when times are tough. His defense is a little suspect though. I'd like to see him make some additional strides there.

scola is heart of this team for this season. Luv watching him rebound. Some guys just seem to have a nose for the ball. Add toughness and grit aand you get another in the long line of "earthbound" guys who can rebound. Super athleticism doesn't guarantee success (ala Stromile Swift). Also luv Yao's heart, but can you imagine Scola's agressiveness in Yao's body? 2nd coming of Bill Russel ? Wilt?
