IT WAS THE PLAYOFFS!!! Who else was going to do it????

If McGrady played averaged and deferred to teammates, but still lost, ppl would criticized for not being the superstar. The point is, someone had to do it. Remember game 1 and 2 last year in the playoffs, Tmac was shut down in both 4th quarters. No one in the rox stepped up in his absence. Tmac had to do it buddy.

I think Yao and Artest are on the same plane, and Tmac used to be.

    NO...no...NO !

If the team had played as a team, and I have no issue with Tmac shooting more, but him having to make ALL the decisions is the problem.

Kobe's playoff numbers tend to deflate in the playoffs, and he is one of the only two superstars in DDs world. His overall numbers and percentages both take a hit. Love to see DD explain that one. Somehow I'm guessing he'll still find a way to blame T-Mac.

DD makes no sense he just blabs and blabs. Do you realize how poor our teams playing making ability was or do you forget so quickly, the talent on this years Rockets team is so much higher then it ever has been. You say he makes passes, but doesn't believe in his team to make decisions are you kidding me who did we have that was just such a play maker or even a competent slasher?

Kobe is playing more team oriented ball in the playoffs, especially lately.

I make sense to anyone who has ever played or led team sports. And the reason they traded Alston was to get Brooks and Lowry more touches and utilize their slashing and playmaking abilities.

Talent wise, you can say 100% Tracy is not that far below Kobe. But mentally, it is not even close.

Well, dead issue, Tmac is having surgery tomorrow...

We shall see who is right on the Rockets are good enough to contend issue......

I am sure someone will bring it up...at some point.

There's no primary decision maker in a motion offense. Who anointed Tracy as that? T-Mac's decision making was limited to breaking the offense and playing ball stopper.

You didn't answer my question. When we did have a healthy T-mac we had no talent around him plain and simple he had to carry us.

The same Ron Artest who you have castigated even more than McGrady as being a 'ball stopping', no-defense-playing terrible acquisition? You think he is on the same plane as Tim Duncan?

    Now I'm just confused.

So who would have made the decisions? Luther Head? David Wesley?

The Rockets are currently looking better because Brooks is running the show, not because McGrady is out.

No, because of both, and because Artest and Battier are finally looking like they're close to healthy.

So you would rather have Kobe's 3 on 1 fadeaway shot attemps. Tracy takes better shots than Kobe does. I dont know what Kobe does that makes you go wow he is a better team player than Tmac. Im confused? Ive watched plenty of Laker games and Tracy is a better passer when he has the ball in his hands. Why cant you look at assist? Its a stat that in past years Tracy has dominated. Kobe shoots almost 4 more times a game than Tracy does. Team ball, Tracy is more of a team player than Kobe.

You have got to be joking. With McGrady out there is was 4 on 5. He wasn't 100% hell he wasn't even 50%.

Also helps having Shane and Artest healthy for the first time. Meaning that for the first time all year we can actually play some defense. Why bother thinking though? Let's blame that faker McGrady!

Anyone hear the one about T-Mac having Microfracture surgery and officially tossing in the white towel on a pathetic career in order to piss off Houston? Apparently he never tried here either, and would spend most days scheming up new ways to destroy the franchise.
