T-Mac starts to think he is the pg. He is out there to score. Rafer is the pg and he needs to run the plays.

Yes, but for some reason Rafer allows TMac to take over the offense. If Rafer can see what is hurting the team, he should speak up during the games and demand the ball to run the plays instead of deferring to TMac.

Um, I recall t-mac attacking.... A lot. He attacked and dished to scola, he attempted a 3 man poster. he drove and missed a lay-up which I felt there was contact on. He made a drive attempt with scola actually cutting him off in the lane so he had to stop and turn it around and ended up settling for the 3.

So really, last night in the 2nd half of the game. T-mac attacked the basket the most out of our perimeter players. So please don't say things like that if you're already bias towards him. Maybe he didn't attack the basket as much as you would've liked but he still attacked more than rafer did all game in the 2nd 1/2. And I believe it was rafer you kept getting burned by Nate robinson.

Stop, just stop you are embarassing yourself. You attack 2 ways.

    1. Off the dribble

    or

    2. With Ball and body movement.

Tmac attacked ONCE off the dribble and blew the layup...he then settled for jumper after jumper and if he couldn't get by their scrub defenders he passed it to Ron for a jumper.

The Ron and Tmac jumper show......and not so surprisingly it failed.

I have been watching all year how Tmac is chucking and settling late, he is the primary reason the team gives up late leads.....he doesn't pass in crucial situations, nor does he attack.

Tmac is playing like a man running through the forest chased by Sleestacks....

He is just SCARED to push himself, and it is hurting the team.

Put him on the bench until he breaks through his mental hurdles....Wafer is a better player than he is right now.

Our bench was playing better than our starters were last night. We should have left Tracy and Ron on the bench and had Barry and Wafer in at the end.

Im sure Tracy is all pouty right now bc skip called him out. lol.

Im with you bro people keep hatin on t-mac alone. HATE ON EVERYONE! t-mac needs to MOVE the ball, himself, and the team around. The only knock i have on Mac is that he holds the ball a little too long.

However everyone has things to improve on. We cant just h8 on one guy. Tell Ron to pass every now and then and to just post not drive. Rafer should improve his game n every aspect. basically the TEAM needs to imorove.

Im waitin till Yao comes back to see how the team responds. Everyone recognizes he is the man when hes in. Without him the flow is gone to many guys wanna b the #1 option, nd the one who should b is recoverin from his knee injury and playing point n a jvg offense

    Come on guys, be real.

    I know you love Tmac....

But he was standing at the top of the key with the ball in ONE had holding it behind him far too often last night.

Tracy has to move OFF the ball, or sit....

I completely agree with you! The threes he jacked up were extremely annoying... when fans feel like this.. imagine the mind of players..

Wafer>T-Mac now.. just because of his shot selection and attacking skills..

and T-Mac is a great passer.. but somehow he forgets his team mates in the last 5-6 mins of all games.. trying to make a statement i guess...

Agreed. Rafer's D was absolutely terrible. He gave up at least two layups to his man on backdoor cuts from what I remember.

T-mac walked the ball slowly up the court.

T-mac held the ball over his head for 10 seconds waiting for the pick to come. The pick comes he can't beat the 4 man defender off the dribble and if he does he barley turns the corner where he either get's caught up or he throws it out to whoever for a poor offensive posession.

T-mac walked the court the whole game. When he doesn't have the basketball he just stands beyond the 3 point arc. He doesn't set solid screens to effectively get guys open in the offense and he doesn't move the ball, he only moves the basketball in pick and roll situations he never gets the ball to move the ball around the horn.

T-mac has no desire to play Defense

Ron does the same things but just worse. Ron will not pass the ball in pick and roll situations. Ron will dribble around and through the screens ragardless if a teammate is open.

Ron is mimmicking T-mac,Ron doesn't play defense anymore,He refuses to get around screens and chase the guy he is guarding all ron wants to do right now is shoot three pointers and play hero.

The sad thing about is we have potential right now to blow up in a good way as a team with the pieces we have.

Rafer got killed by nates speed... nate is smaller than aaron brooks and is quicker than Ab so that was just a bad mismatch

and the holding the ball and chuckin 3's and airball 3's dont work for the offense... when rafer cant be effective on one side of the ball he usually does good on the otherside of the ball he was right tho selfishness killed the game and the chemistry is bad Artest will probably be the victim and be used as tradebait... artest and luther in a package for probably a SG or a combo G

I seem to recall in the 4th quarter last night T-Mac getting a rebound, Rafer coming near T-Mac to get the ball to run the offense, and T-mac just brushed him off. Anyone else see that?

The stagant offense with T-Mac and Ron in the game is not a recipe for success, but hopefully Yao will give the other 2 space when he gets back.

Ron Artest shoots too many threes.

    Alston Slams! The Rip Job!

-"Either play one on one, or were going to pass the ball to each other & play team ball"....

-"One member of the Rockets pointed out that the teams victory the previous day was Fool's Gold because Houston's had triumphed despite getting any thing from passing and ball movement."

-"The victory in Detroit coincided with the return of Mcgrady and Artest."

-"One day you have this guy, the next day you don't have this, so the offense changes, the game plan changes, but one this that doesn't change is paying hard, playing together. playing with some passion".

-"Not paying with energy on both ends, not setting side screens, just simple things."

-"It's to a man. We got away from that for 6-7 games, then tonight we got back to playing selfish basketball."

Fool's Gold? Really? as in Tracy "Fool's Gold" Mcgrady?
Good thing some relizes this but me!

"one thing that doesn't change is playing hard, playing together, playing with some passion." Really? Playing hard and with passion, Tracy are you listening?

Not playing with energy, not setting side screens, simple things? Tracy says: "I'm back".

We got back to playing selfish basketball Tracy says: "I'm back".

Thanks Rafer! Thanks for sticking up for your team. Thanks for giving the game everything you got, and trying to lead your team to better basketball.

Now walk over to Tracy and kick him right in the balls and tell him to grow a pair or get out!

Rafer has been exceptional under Rick Adelman, he's not an all star or whatever but he has run the team well. I'm glad he's calling out our players cause someone has to show leadership.

He still can't shoot, but hey, neither can those other dudes who don't pass the ball.

Either this could help the team, if his teammates take it the criticism correctly or it could get worse.

We shouldn't lose to the Knicks, a team with a whole bunch of nobodies trying to clear cap space for LeBron James.
