That was last year. T-Mac's a year older and a year slower.

That team also didn't have Wafer, and there's no question that Wafer's outplayed McGrady this year.

and he's also recovering. outside of how we ended the 4th, tracy played pretty good v. the knicks. he tried to dunk in traffic once and that never happened before this year so it's an ongoing process. he can only get better.

wafer has played well and he deserves more minutes even with tracy and ron back, i can't disagree with that.

my point is that tracy CAN play whatever offense as he gets healthier. we still have 2 more months to go so there is enough time for him to get better.

His mistakes now are all mental, not related to his physical health. He's hanging onto the ball instead of passing it immediately. He doesn't pass unless he's driving into the paint.

There's an excellent chance this season doesn't end well for the Rockets and Tracy's gone during the off-season. This is his last shot and he's messing it up.

There is no need to fry anyone, but Rafer is right, this team did not play Adelman ball on Monday. I know it's probably hard for TMac and Artest to play team ball when they've been the hero on most teams, but the other players should take some blame too. If Artest and McGrady start holding the ball longer than they should, players should start to think, "Am I moving the Rick Adelman way?".

I blame the whole team for this loss. It's time to start playing the right way, whether you are a star or a role player, play the way the offense was designed. If someone isn't fitting the mold, then they'll be pulled or they'll adjust.

Funny that the team was winning and moving the ball before T-Mac and Artest came back.

In hindsight, and what with Morey's comments on 610 that Ron isn't being shopped (what else would he say?), seems that Ron tried to play hero to his hometown NY crowd and wound up putting his foot in it.

I do think he played up the "ow, my ankle" bit as a cover for why he was sucking. But Adelman should have pulled him.
