Dirty tactics? did you guys not expect this series to be physical? I hope you realize how dumb you sound when you blame the referees.. did you watch the Finals last year? Leon freaking Powe had more FTs in Game 2 then the whole Lakers team.

get over yourself.. if you can't handle rough play go watch sesame street.

    I don't know man.

I always thought a knee to the head and a elbow to the back of the head would at least be a flagrant.

As I said earlier in this thread...he should get something for what he did in game one. Don't even give me that "He was gettting up!" mess.

Because guys are always on the floor for the ball and how many times do you see a guy get up and 'accidentally' knee and elbow a guy in the head?

Whatever. So don't complain if your boys get murdered in the upcoming games. It will be a long series. Karma will hit you badly.

Physical not equals to Dirty. Kobe gets that wrong, so do you.

All I know is that the big, bad Lakers needed a washed up pseudo point guard to "send a message" to a Rockets team that had their best player sitting on the bench with four fouls and two points. A fifth seeded team with a $20 million hole in their roster is in your heads. Don't tell me how much the Rockets are in trouble. The Rockets have nothing to lose, they are going home and they are angry.

You act like, Kobe is out their hurting players.. the incidents he did on Battier and Ron were clearly in-ball position determination and nothing else.

Man exactly, this is what the Lakers need to worry about even if they win this series. The Rockets are not OLD. Yao is in his prime and probably has 3 seasons left in it (if China leaves him alone) if we resign Ron we still have Tmac's expiring.

We got nothing to lose, remember 9/10 people outside of Texas had us losing to the Blazers and getting swept by these Fakers.

I do respect a Laker fan coming over here though knowing he's going to get flamed to death though. I know how it is cause I pop into the Jazz forum a few times and anything I say usually got some type of insult thrown my way.

I will give were credit its due with no hesitation. will you guys do the same? doesn't look like it..

even Kenny Smith called the Rockets.. "pitbulls".. if I'm the owner and I have 12 pitbulls.. I'm gonna make sure I'm the one who's more determined to give the pitbull there own medicine.. the reality is that the Rockets are more physical as a result.. the Lakers are gonna have to have a counter-attack regardless if its a rough play.

You do realize "there" means person/people right? I'm talking about a thing not a object.

Thing is, no one is out there with the intention of hurting guys, they do that crap to send messages.

This isn't Kobe's first time doing it either. If you make a good defensive play on him the suddenly a elbow is 'accidentally' thrown your way.

Also, that was any determination on Kobe. The play was dead, I guess Kobe was determined to get up and knee Shane in the head.

    In-ball position determination?

Jesus Christ man, when you're using euphemisms, please don't make up crap like this on the spot.

I'm sorry, this isn't the 80s. The league has already sent a precedent for ejecting Artest after walking up to Kobe, I'd like to see some reciprocity. Kobe DOES have history of pulling this crap. I'm not saying it really matters (since personally, I think the Rockets can still take the Lakers with Kobe), but it would be nice to see Kobe suspended.

Not a grammar nazi, but "Kobe is out their hurting players" makes no sense. Their is a possessive noun. Like their things or their bongs or their whatevers.

Unless you think hurting players is a material thing that Kobe possesses (which is something that can be argued), you might want to reconsider the wording.

Other replier was right. Kobe is out there, hurting players.

Artest deserved to get ejected; NO IF's or BUT's. Artest act like he never swag someone with his fist or his elbow.

you know what Storm.. I hope you get you're wish and Kobe is suspended.

Did your boys get elbowed? No. Did the Blazers get elbowed? No.

Lakers will get a heavy dose of their own medicine.

So Artest deserves to get ejected for getting in Kobe's face?

Yet Kobe doesn't even get a foul for when he elbows guys above the shoulder?

This is the same logic the NBA uses though...

Why argue with a laker fan though?

Let it be and when it is our victory celebration time, it will taste even sweeter.

Sorry; Bud.. this is the playoffs sometimes the refs are gonna let rough play go.. but they are not gonna ignore someone when a (Player) goes up on someones face especially if that player looks determined to start a fight.

what Kobe did was nothing but rough play that resulted in a shoving match.. if we are in-due complaining all series long about rough play then this series should be called "Chicken Little: The Fans are crying".
