Don't know if anyone remembers, but back when Brian Grant played for the Sac Kings and had a more normal looking fro, in one particular game Hakeem swatted Grant 3 consecutive times at the rim on the same possession. Man, that was vicious
I won't say they should have gone "more offense", but they definetly went too far away from what they did well. Adding Thomas, Bell, & Grant - Johnson, Q and Hunter. They lost way too much athleticism. If the somehow could have managed to added Bell and Thomas while only losing Richardson (maybe by not overpaying Bell by so much they could not re-sign Hunter), they would have added a lot of defense and depth without costing much in terms of overall offense and athleticism. But obviously this is not what they were able to pull off.
Almost exactly: Grant 2005: 3.8 ppg / 3.7 rpg / 16.5 mpg Spoon 2005: 3.1 ppg / 3.1 rpg / 13.1 mpg If the Suns think this move makes them a better team, they're sorely mistaken. As a Rockets fan, though, I'm ecstatic about this move!
