Give the guy a f**king break. We know NOTHING about what he is going through. Eddie is still a young player with plenty of potential. Let's give him a chance to get over his problems before we call for his head. There is NO point in cutting him, and he will get next to nothing in a trade. The best option is to keep him, and see what happens.
Welcome back Sage, we've missed ya. and I gotta give props to Yetti for a reasonable reaction to an unusual problem. for the rest of yall.. jeeze, ya want to buy a "Jump to Conclusions Mat".. I can fix ya up...
man...eddie is such a good. he listens to everyone telling him to be like rasheed wallace. What does everyone think about Antonio McDyess? Eddie for McDyess?
i rather have a PF that misses games and practice and can still play than a PF that misses games and practice because he's always injured.

LOL. Could this be a clue to Eddie's problems? This quote was taken from the Hornets game thread........ Who could it be? Is there a relation? Tune in next practice day, same clutch time, same clutch channel! Seriously, he may have a valid reason for not puting B-Ball at the top of his priority list right now. True, he isn't handling his bosses and teammates very well at the moment concerning this issue, but root cause isn't know yet, so lighten up.
FO SHO's patiences is the best way to go. last time we traded in a hurry we ended up with cato and 5 other bench players
If you really want to send a message, exercise the fourth year option on Eddie. Then trade him the next day to the Clippers. It will end up costing him millions.
A bump? It takes being suspended indefinitely to bump Eddie? Everybody's been hoping this kid can turn out to be a worthy pick for us. He sucked on the court, then at least he needs to get his act straight off the court. Basketball player aside, just as a employee, he and his behavior is not acceptable. JVG talked to him, warned him, and still miss the next day work. BTW, Eddie is not that talented either, at least not enough to warrant his behavior. Eeven if Yao or Steve miss work like that, action need to be taken. I am all for cutting him ultimately.
I don't care. The conduct is not acceptable. He knows how intense an NBA season is. If he can't handle it, especially with what we pay him, he can go sit at hokme unemployed.
While I will not speculate on what has caused Eddie to miss the game and the practice, there's no doubt that this is unacceptable behavior. I've been a supporter of Griffin's for the past couple of years. However, I'm no longer concerned about his development as a player. I'm more worried about what kind of support he's recieved in his personal life. He clearly needs a mentor of some kind to teach him maturity and responsibility, and it doesn't look like he's been recieving that from his "friends" or the Rockets organization since he entered the NBA. Eddie needs a helping hand, a stabilizing influence in his life. But he has to genuinely want to be helped for that help to be effective. Up to now, it doesn't look like he's wanted that help, but hopefully, this will be the wake-up call that he needs to understand that there are consequences to his actions, and he'll be willing to accept the support of the community, the organization, and his teammates.
Now with his trade value where it is, we can finally make the trade: Eddie for Cherokee Parks, straight up
Hehe, how old is he, 21 now? I've seen 21 year old that has 2 kids and a family to support. No matter what problems, he needs to let the boss know if he's going to miss practice especially after a serious warning. What type mentoring he needs to fix that?
Right. Like I said, this is unacceptable behavior; there's no excuse not to at least notify the Rockets. But there isn't some magic "maturity switch" that comes on when you hit 21. I take it you've never been on a college campus?
