EG.....you're killing us! What a schmuck. You are paid millions to play a game that I play for fun and you can't even show up for games or practice because of "personal reasons." What bull****.
Never said he was completely terrible, he was definitely a gambler. You win some and you lose some. On your list I would only argue against the Barkley trade, but I admit that is debatable. But to call my post stupid because I wrote trading for E.G. was a bad move was just out of line. I wish it had worked out, but it's looking more and more like it won't and that isn't even arguable.
I think you're being a tad harsh to blame Rudy T for all of those things. We had a gm and owner who had quite some input into those decisions as well.
I doubt if you could get more than a second rounder for him. We have to stick with him at the moment. Good thing they didn't give him the extension. Still hoping he can grow up or overcome his problems.
Man, I hope it is something serious. That is, the article says that Van Gundy knew of the reason he missed the past game and practice. So hopefully it is more than sitting around smoking up.
He lives in my subdivision, a few weeks ago I saw him and a very pregnate chick getting into his Escalade.
He purchased his house the summer before he started to play ball here in houston, so what would be suprising about him having bad credit at that time?
I don't see how a pregnacy can be so disruptive in a proffessional athlete's life, even unwanted or unexpected.
I honestly dont think he wants to be in Houston. Out of everygame ive seen him play, i only seen him smile a few times. Ive never seen him jump up and down and cheer while the rockets are at close games. He's just not focused..Im waiting to hear from bad news about him. Maybe he killed someone, or someone is trying to get him...who knows... I dont know if any team will want EG. Maybe we could do some trade with Portland and have Rasheed come to Houston.
hmm. interesting. oh, and it's "pregnant". i think that could definitely be related to this situation, be it directly or indirectly.
Well if it IS something serious having to do with pregnancy or pregnancy difficulties, then I will not blame him as much. He's too young to be able to think clearly in a situation like that, and believe me, millions of dollars or no, absolutely NOTHING takes precedence over that child's well-being. Years from now, whetever else happens with him on this issue, he will finally look himself in the mirror and say 'Why the F*&^ didn't I at least CALL them??'
Do you think that he would have been suspended if it had something to do with pregnancy or pregnancy difficulties ? That would seem kinda cruel.
