Can we affix the "bust" label now?

By the end of last year, I thought he was going to be merely disappointing; now he is even worse. :(

I wish he hasn't committed some kinds of crimes, for his own sake.

But for Rox, pick up his option and trade him ASAP.

    Hey, Eggie married? Or single?

This sounds like a 'Momma's the Boss right now' kind of thing, which gives me the vibe that it may have something to do with a girl, possibly an unexpected pregnancy, or issues along those lines...

But this is all just so bizarre.. I think we should wait to pass judgement until after the issue is resolved, and whatever facts come out, come out. Because, he DOES have talent. If he has some legitimate soul-churning problems to deal with right now, and on top of that he sees how the supposed FANS are turning on him, I don't think he would be able to get himself out of town fast enough and onto another team.. and then we may be facing a decade of a suddenly-motivated EG waiting to stick knives in our hearts every chance he gets..

    Think Rashard Lewis..

I am not defending EG, just saying that the level of bizarreness actually lends itself to giving him the benefit of the doubt...

Seems clear to me, this guy doesn't give a flying f*ck about this team. I'm ready to send him packing, before he starts to become too big a distraction to the team. The coach and players have enough to worry about.

I bet you he is out because of the Flu epidemic that is floating around Houston.

He is being good to his teammates and not showing up for
practice because he is afraid he will spread it.

Everyone, please make sure you get your flu shot this year.

I know you love Rudy T, but he did spend three draft picks on this guy when people on the the East Coast already had questions about his character. Mo Taylor, Kelvin Cato, Moochie Norris, Brent Price, Matt Maloney=stupid.

Your loyalty to Rudy T is stupid, your response to my post is stupid, which leads me to believe that you are just stupid.

We do need him. Like Van Gundy said, he is an important part. How can we complete a trade without his salary slot?

Well, now we can't trade him. What we have to do is keep him around and hope that he comes back and is able to contribute in some way this season. If he can do that then we have to ship his ass out of here for whatever we can get for him.

    Screw you Griff!

This is the worst conceivable time to trade Eddie Griffin. Even if he is a bust (which I don't yet believe), he'd be a bust with slightly higher trade value if we wait a while.

I can't really say he was bad in this area. He also decided to keep Hakeem, draft Yao, Cassell, Horry, and Cuttino, and trade for Drexler, Barkley, Francis, and Elie.

Hey maybe ESPN's new editor is doing what that intern for David Letterman once did when he confused Eddie Grrifin the basketball player' for Eddie Griffin the Entertainer.
