It looks like it from my sense of the constant trade "chatter" from different sources.

I love how the Knicks think the rockets would do a deal just because....This ain't the grizzlies, the rockets aren't going to do a deal for the sake of making a deal.
The best scenario for the rockets would be to let mcgrady's contract expire and free up the space for themselves.

Oh no, there's nothing in the knicks we would be interested in. If we're going to have him traded, it better
be with a team that has chances to win championships, because those are the teams that have players
with value. I say trade him to miami for j. o'neal. we need a center until yao is back, and maybe we'll need
him even when yao is back. There's the possibility of Yao losing his form, or even getting injured again.
Either trade him to Miami or don't trade him at all...

Why dont we just keep Mcgrady till the end of the year let his contract end and pick up a free agent that will make this team a championship team. All these sportswriters just throw a bunch a garbage out there hoping it will stick. DM is no dummy and if we do move TMAC I sure hope we dont have to take on some horrid contracts.

Nobody here wants freaking Jared Jeffries so the Knicks can suck it imo.

The one way I see it working out, excluding Gallinari is for Houston to trade McGrady for Jeffries, David Lee, and an expiring contract (like Darko), and then essentially flip David Lee (maybe plus something else) for a player who doesn't duplicate what the current PF combo can do. As mentioned by others before, alternatively, they can trade one of the current PFs, but either way, I can't see how Scola, Landry AND Lee aren't just too much of the same thing.

Perhaps something like McGrady for Jeffries, Lee, Darko, and then flip Lee and a 1st round pick to SAC for Kevin Martin?
