In other news, Cavs are desperate.

I agree anyone is better than Brown, but an inknown commodity like Shaw? Not sure if LerBon is gonna go for that. Cavs should be looking for veteran coaches. Not that it matters since the real coach is gonna be LB anyways.

Not much he'll be able to do with a roster of
    Williams/West/Hickson/Jamison/Varajao
This is probably going to be a rare First-to-Worst swing.

A rookie coach is going to do WAY better than the best record in the NBA two years in a row? That's all they needed to get past Boston, a different coach? Just swap out coaches, and they would have beaten the Spurs in the finals?

I don't know how I feel about Shaw. I remember reading how he would meow at Kwame Brown all the time. There is riding your players and then there is doing crap that won't help them develop.

Highly stupid of the Cavs. You dont need some college coach with no clue how to coach NBA players or a first time "experiment" coach like Shaw. You need a proven WINNER. Why not Byron Scott?

When did Scott win anything as a coach?

Well for starters a coach of the year award. He took new Jersey to the finals twice during his tenure and turned new Orleans into a winning franchise. Where was new Jersey before Scott got there?

Scott is a proven NBA coach. Shaw is an experiment at this point.

Every good coach started as an experiment. Scott
    is a proven failure.
