First off, it is game because he played this way in OKC. Secondly, what's the purpose of getting Lawson if James is gonna still handle the ball 90% of the game? Lol. We mine as well trade Lawson now.
Body type has absolutely nothing to do with anything. Reggie Miller, Ray Allen & James are SHOOTING guards. This means they SHOOT the ball. James works entirely too hard for his points. If he gets more open looks without dribbling 20 seconds only to drive & get clobbered in the paint then that's what you want.

Hardens ball handling and play making skills when compared to Allen and Miller is similar to comparing Hakeem's post moves with Dwights. Laughable.

I do think Harden is going to be off ball a little more, but he absolutely is still going to be our top play maker. Without question. Harden with the ball is better than Ty with the ball. And no that doesn't make getting Lawson pointless. Harden doesn't play the whole game.

I also tend to believe that Harden won't be running around off screens anything like Allen or Miller. Every now and then sure, but like has been said already I think he's going to do much more camping and waiting for Ty to make the defense collapse then all that running around.

Was never comparing the better outta the 3. Not sure how you got that from anything I posted

Um, yes & no. Harden's a better SCORER with the ball. Lawson's a better distributor. Lawson's arguably the best in the league with the ball assist wise. Our offense will be less predicable if Harden catching the ball on the move, as opposed to standing in the corner waiting for the ball. This is why adding a few plays would benefit everybody

I don't have a lot of expertise on Harden's OK time. I know he had an amazing statistical year that last year with OK. I have read on here though that Harden was the most trusted playmaker there, even over Westbrook, which is why I didn't know if he played off the ball.

From my many, many games watching Harden in Houston leads me to believe that Harden's #1 strength is not putting the ball in the basket but creating offense - the stepback, penetrating to get to the line, etc. There are loads of better shooters than Harden. I just don't want Harden to trade out an elite talent for an above average talent.

I think Lawson can be a great complement whichever way Harden is used.

On the turnovers, one thing that bothered me is I never read that Harden took ownership for those 13 or so turnovers in that last game and stated that he intended to improve in that area. Yes, there were certainly other factors that needed to be addressed, but Harden is still the one who made those turnovers.

He can do more provided he doesn't show up drunk or hungover or provided Khloe doesn't take over and we need less of the 13 turnover games.

I doubt Harden plays all that much off screens - to some degree. They will mix it up.

The primary benefit to lawson is that Harden can draw a double then pass to Lawson who should find an open lane to drive into. It makes it that much harder to double harden. Lawson will primarily create for other guys, not Harden. Harden can be more of a 2 guard now and focus on scoring - which is scary since he already was close to leading the league.

That sounds more like it. Just seemed silly to have Harden impersonate Rip Hamilton all year. I dont see why Harden would jus t score and Lawson just pass. I just think they will just do what they do and take pressure off each other
