I dno't think the suns would want Ben's ludicrous contract. Well, I dont think any team does. But especially not the cap-stretched suns.
Wallace's contract is not as bad as Marion's. Ben Wallace: 2008 - 15.5 2009 - 14.5 2010 - 14.0 Shawn Marion: 2008 - 16.4 2009 - 17.2 2010 - FA Read on a Bull's forum that Kobe doesn't want to play with Hinrich because he thinks he dominates the ball too much.
How do you define bad? Marion is owed $33.6MM, Big Ben has $44MM coming to him. Marion's contract is actually better.
I was thinking about the future extension that will cost them at least 17+ a year or losing him for nothing...
WOW Kobe joining the Bulls, he is recognize as the best player closest to Jordan and now he might just be apart of that team
Yeah he is a much better player, but he can replace Marion's rebounding and defense, and Hill and Diaw can up their scoring to match what they lose with Marion. What Marion can't do and Wallace can is allow Amare to move to power forward full time and his contract will not take up as much cap space as Marion's.

Paxson puts Kobe rumors to rest GM says there will be no deal to bring Lakers superstar to Bulls By K.C. Johnson Tribune staff reporter November 1, 2007, 2:48 PM CDT Kobe Bryant is not coming to the Bulls. General manager John Paxson put an end to more than a week of feverish speculation, declaring, "There's not a deal to be done" in the Bryant sweepstakes following Thursday's practice. "It's time to put it to rest," Paxson said. Paxson had grown weary of responding to the endless speculation regarding Bryant's future and wanted to ease the minds of his team, which many consider an Eastern Conference favorite. Paxson acknowledged having several conversations with the Lakers regarding Bryant but refused to divulge specifics. It's known that the Bulls engaged in multiple talks trying to engineer three-team trades, but nothing ever got close, Paxson said. Paxson refused to say his team was distracted by the daily rumors regarding the incident, saying merely that the Bulls "played poorly" in Wednesday's season-opening loss the Nets. But Paxson wanted to make sure the situation didn't become a distraction. "Today sends a message that our guys don't have to worry about anything anymore," he said.
Amen. Whiny superstars, who more often than not are the cause of the problem to begin with, deserve to suffer through them.
In the short term it will take up less, in the long term it will take up more cap space and leave them in jail for longer - at the price of an inferior, older player.
This isn't the first time either - IIRC, he denied Curry/Knicks talks up and down....and then made the trade. Evan
Gasol instead of Kobe? Please. KG would've been nice but if I were Chicago I'd still want Kobe over KG.
Usually, Arenas annoys me, but he's absolutely right here: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/writers/ian_thomsen/11/02/arenas/index.html
