I recall Broussard mentioning he's from Louisiana.

Broussard was also the first guy to claim he had sources telling him that LeBron was going to Chicago and that it was a sure thing.

It makes sense. Rockets dumped Ariza for nothing. Rockets could dump Martin for nothing too.

According to this BBS, it will always be a good trade if we saved money and get some talent back.

This is why it's getting so hard to watch ESPN these days.

I know its absurd, but if does somehow turn out that we're so out of the 8th seed by the trade deadline that we're in seller's mode, sure, I'd consider moving Martin. I'll take similar value to what we got for him for, someone like a Landry + expirings. Unless Martin continues his torrid pace, then maybe even someone better or high first round pick etc.

What is with Fox Sports wanting Scola for Bosh now ESPN troll wants a Martin for Peja trade they must know that once the Rockets get their stuff together this team will be a serious contender this year. Just wait till this team really gets to gel it will be a fun ride. :)

They don't need Martin, they got Bellinili and he is playing that role quite nicely.

It would be a great idea if Martin was sucking arse like Trevor did....but the difference is that Martin is a smart basketball player, and can dribble and Trevor.....well he is tall and skinny.

You are absolutely correct ,my friend! When the rockets are tagged to be top whatever they usually dont live up to the hype. When we are considered "underdogs" we rise to the occasion.....NOW lets get it!!

This is the kind of chit from the likes of Broussard that raises my blood pressure: Houston will entertain taking your overpaid, washed up players (Peja) for one of our their most efficient NBA players (Martin).

    Preposterous!

He see's a team with a 1-5 record and another team that's undefeated.

It's not that hard for him to assume we would be willing to unload a player on a longer deal so we can start rebuilding.

some posters do this all the time.

for example Danny Granger in Indiana and Iggy in Philly.

Yeah but we we those posters are idiots, just like we do of Broussard.

At 1-5 it is hard to believe that we already want to start rebuilding, come back when we are 10-40.

Good call. It's a dumb idea, but it's normal for fans of winning teams to think a losing team will jettison good players.

The bit about Danny Granger is true. The Pacers have been in the wilderness since the Basketbrawl incident in Detroit and would in no way trade Granger.

Philly, on the other hand, didn't exactly deny recent reports that they might need to make moves, major or minor, so they can more easily assemble a winning team going forward. Er, that's a lot of syllables. Let me condense that. Ahem. "Rebuild."

How about Kevin Martin for Okafor? Don't know Meka's contract...but he's been playing late and would actually give the Rockets all they need in terms of defending the paint and rebounding.
