It makes sense that Bosh's tweet about today being a "GREAT" day, was him learning that Toronto is now open to SnT with Miami. Well at least that makes the most sense to me.

 

We gave you guys Hakeem the Dream. Pay us back with Chris Bosh.

 

Thats not the point...the point is that not all players are playing on their dream team. I would love to play for the Rockets, Lakers, or Heat...but that doesnt mean I wouldnt want to play for Chicago, even though they are further down my list.

At the end of the day, this is a job for these guys and there are many factors at play. Just because a guy isnt dying to play for Houston doesnt mean we should move on to the next free agent. Thats just dumb.

Also, just because a guy is a free agent doesnt mean anything. What if the team they want to play for doesnt have cap space...or what if that team isnt interested in the player?

with all due respect....if you think that there is ANYONE (outside of Patterson or guys in their first NBA contract) that is playing for Houston currently, that doesnt think, first and foremost, that its the best FINANCIAL location for him, then u are sorely mistaken. Its ALWAYS about the money....at least until you are 35 and wanting to win a ring before you retire

Thats how I took it. Most likely Toronto finally caved in and will accept some version of a sign and trade from Miami.

 

It's wishful thinking but at least Morey still has some time to possibly sweeten our offer. I trust DM won't overpay so I'm ok with the outcome of this either way.

DM will get something done. I just hope that he does it during the summer. I want our roster ready from the start so we can battle for the top spot this season.
