Thats because they had a star like Bosh and Vince all them years from lucky drafting. Now they move to zero stars and Varejuo. Raptors are too uninteresting because you know they will never have a chance to win a Championship being up there in Toronto like that. So I would rather us send one of the Western conference teams to the East and getting back Seattle. So Houston can have those battles with them again. Rators are nobodies rivals so its not like anybody would remember if they go away as an organization.

So, who would you send to the Eastern Conference then? You're looking at a whole bunch of different scenarios then. There is no reason for Toronto to move just because you find them uninteresting.

They serve no purpose in the NBA. They have 0%%%%% chance of eevr winning the Championship because of their location in Toronto. No players wants to play in Toronto. They can never lure a player there or keep them long enough to compete for a Championship. It makes zero sense to have one franchise like that in a far out region that traveling to makes no sense either for other teams. Its just like the NBA has all these teams and then theres Toronto in Siberia out there.

I would be on boiard with the Brooks trade if we have a guy to replace him behind Lowry. If we trade Brooks for Bosh who is gonna play behind Lowry? If we have that guy then I would offer them Brooks for Bosh.

Couldn't agree more with this statement....All we're hearing about is the media reports of this and that and other...I'm almost willing to bet that their is back-room types of deals trying to be hammered out...Will it happen? Maybe, maybe not...but there's defenitely more than what the media is playing out....just ask BP...

As a BBS we should bow our heads in shame for allowing Steven A. Smith and Chris Broussard to get our hopes up about landing Bosh. They are talking out of their asses like everybody else. There is not a scintilla of evidence that Bosh wants to play here. That's the bottom line. He ain't coming to Houston.

He met with us for 20 minutes. An informal meeting if you will. He also met with the Heat, Raptors, and Bulls that same night/morning. He then had formal meetings in Chicago with NJ, MIA, CHI, NY. Rockets did not get that 2nd meeting.

So you say they are talking out of their asses "like everybody else", yet you apparently believe the others and not SAS/Broussard?

I think the quotes and behavior of his agent Henry Thomas should give some hint that Houston is not a priority with Bosh, right?

That's true. But he's not going to sign outright(imo) with a team so that doesnt matter. But whatever. Everyone has their opinions, beliefs, etc on what could, should, would happen. Rockets were a longshot, still a longshot. I dont think he's coming here.

It's not believing anything. We know that Henry Thomas has downplayed the meeting Morey had with Bosh. We know that Houston has not got another meeting, or any contact with them since. We know that Bosh has not ever expressed interest in playing in Texas. What makes you optimistic at all?

and he never expressed any interest in playing in Cleveland either....in fact, his desire to NOT play there is allegedly whats keeping him from being traded there...yet u think they have a better shot than us....he also hasnt said anything to make you think that he WOULDNT play in houston

Henry Thomas downplayed the meeting bc he wasnt there.....and it wasnt about contract talk...it was about how Houston might be a good place for him if he wanted max money
