I'm sorry, but at what point was Bosh a championship player and not just another all-star player? Just asking.

FWIW, Scola is far more accomplished player than Bosh (titles and MVPs in competitions), while Bosh, so far so good, is a player with great stats, and little else...

    A little-bit off topic:

[rquoter]Raptors forward Hedo Turkoglu recently told a Turkish newspaper, "I'm not happy in Toronto."

In a rough translation, Turkoglu appears to have said "I'm depressed because of events towards the end of the season," a likely reference to his benching. His debut season in Toronto was not a success, but hopefully he'll suck it up and earn his salary -- he's owed $31.8 million over the next three years.[/rquoter]

The same point as Gasol before he went to the Lakers? Just because a player hasn't won doesn't mean he's not championship caliber. You don't have one of the best talent evaluators in the NBA knocking on your doorsteps with $130 mil contract because you're "just another all-star".

I have Insider access but can't find that newsbit.

I will say that the "list" that Chad Ford is pounding down our throat I think is not complete. I think it was info from Colangelo's side in an effort to "pump up" S&T offers from other teams. Morey isn't going to fall for this BS.

Bosh and his agent have refuted "the list". Ford needs to stop using "this list" as the only thing driving this. ESPN's "non reporting" of Bosh's public refuting of the list is egregious. Who cares about facts when we can use "this list" to drive wild FA stories on ESPN, especially to ESPNnewyork.com

    Bosh's new home?
Chicago. The Bulls desperately need a scorer, be it a shooting guard or power forward, so Bosh figures to likely hear from the Bulls. It's been reported he could follow LeBron James to Chicago.

New York. They'll have room for two max free agents, and he could pair with LeBron James in the Big Apple.

Miami Dwyane Wade is looking for a big-man running mate, but that could also be Amare Stoudemire or Carlos Boozer.

Los Angeles Lakers. Andrew Bynum could be sent back in a sign-and-trade, something that was rumored at the trade deadline. Bosh also sat courtside at a Lakers playoff game this postseason.

Toronto. They are reportedly on his list, but it's unlikely he returns to the team next season.

New Jersey, Los Angeles Clippers, Houston, Dallas and Oklahoma City. All teams with either money for a max free agent or available sign-and-trade chips, but none figure to be in the mix.

"None figure to be in the mix" as it relates to CHAD FORD's initial "list" he got from Calengelo. It's BS.

ESPN Insider isn't telling us anything new here, it's just stirring the pot on their own articles.

Now that Dirk might be a FA, Bosh's rating as the top PF available will drop. Even with that, I still believe that whoever signs him, will over pay for his services.

this summer will show us how smart bosh is

    1. genius - he joins durant and spends his prime with durants prime, will win several titles and be close to dallas

2.smart- joining rockets to win now, plus gain china votes and china $$

3.dumb-joining wade and 10 nbdl players. not thinking about future at all, joined just because he wants to have sex orgies in wades house(not to mention wade rumored to have herpes)

4.loser-waited to long to do anything, stuck with knicks or nets

I didnt put chicago, because I think lebron is taking that town over.look guys, Bosh is very good friends with Wade and not lebron. Wade is from chicago. Bosh is not going to "backstab" wade by going to his hometown while wade sits in miami.

however, lebron looks like he is going to chicago or nets, maybe ny. lets hope its chicago. if lebron goes to chicago, then bosh will have to take that off.

thats why you dont hear any rumors, because bosh and wade are being forced to sit around till lebron makes his decision

now, you may say bosh will sign or be traded to miami to play with wade. I feel this is our biggest competition.

problem is, how is riley going to convince bosh to spend the next 6 years of his prime playing for a 35 yr old wade at the time his contract is up, plus, how is riley going to convince bosh that joining wade will defeat the bulls of rose/lebron/noah? or even celtics or lakers?

bosh doesnt want to sign, because he is injury prone and needs that extra 30 million by trade, so miami is going to gut itself by losing, picks, beaesly to get bosh

can a team of wade& bosh and nothing else win? no. i dont even think bosh and lebron can win without some help

thats where rockets come in, we got brooks, martin, yao(plus china sponsors) scola, budinger, picks from ny and our own, ariza, my god we are LOADED

bosh would be NUTS to chose miami over us

the other team might be nets, looks like they might trade harris and 3 for tony parker, can parker, bosh, lopez win? probably not, parker is getting old and done, we dont know how good he is without duncan, and so i dont see it

i think its between okc, miami, and houston...bosh would be DUMB to chose miami

okc scares me, if they offer hardenplus green toronto might say yes, and a team of westbrook bosh durant >>>> rockets with bosh

I agree completely. Don't forget that even if the Thunder trades Green and Harden, they still have Ibaka manning the center spot.

    Ibaka
    Bosh
    Durant
    Sefolosha
    Westbrook

All they need is a serviceable bench.

problem with Durant, is he has to much pride. He said he doesnt want lebron because "its my team"

durant wants all the spotlight, he wont want bosh, thats durants downfall

there ARE basketball gods, and NO ONE can win a championship without some help (except hakeem 94,because well, hakeem is a god)

i dont consider westbrook or green as "help"

durant will be just like KG. he will be great for 10 years and by the time he is 30 he will be like "oh crap,i havent won, maybe i should be traded or ask for more help duuuurrrrrr?"

durant is like a typical 21 yr old athlete. cocky and thinks hes all that. lebron was that way, ai was that way, so was kobe. It took kobe getting shaq and phil jackson (and now gasol) to win anything. Durant will not win anything until he quits acting like a baby and starts to accept the fact no one can win by themselves and he could call up bosh or lebron right now but he wont. Dumby. He must have a greedy dumb agent.

Lebron is smart, he is finally figured out he cant carry that team by himself,so he will join Rose or Lopez or Wade. Guaranteed title next year. Gods grant him everything once you ask God for help.

Problem with Bosh is he thinks he is better than he really is. Like Tmac he cant bring a team to the 2nd round, yet he wants max money, and thinks he and Wade by themselves can win anything. Dumb.

Kg,Pierce,Allen all got to that age where they figured out they need help, and now look at them. They would be working on a 3peat if it wasnt for Kgs injury last year.

Thats why I think Amare is a dumbass. He rejected an extension for the Rockets when he could be winning a title with us next year. Now he will be playing on the crappy Knicks or Nets. Wont win anything ever. He has to much pride and hates Yao (and hates tmac for no reason) . Dude is bitter about 2002 draft. I heard he got injured in our workouts and thats what made him fall to #9.

To be fair, the rest of his team sucks. While Tracy had the full complement of role players and Yao Ming in his arsenal.

If Bosh had the assets and the players built around him in Toronto like Tmac had in Houston, I guarantee you people would not be doubting him or his team like you are right now.

Request article/quote where Durant says that. He's the most humble allstar i've ever seen and I highly doubt he ever said that.

hi chris, please DONT come to houston, our players actually like to go all out for 48 MIN per game, our fanbase is so fickle, go figure we will actually boo you when you incur your annual injury and dont live up to the 130 MILLION you are looking for, we are trying to return toa becoming a defensive minded team, and well ... you dont like to play defense, luis scola has a better post game than you do, isnt a diva, doesnt look like the predator part 4 with rupaul mixed in. truth is any normal houstonian hates dallas with a passion, and well you kinda fit in that category so please pick one of the other sexy cities to play in and leave our blue collar hard working team alone. loved your antics on twitter by the way, kiddie games must be fun, but arent you all grown up now? tisk tisk.
