[ESPN] Bosh and Wade are signing with Miami and will announce today.

Well enough of clowning Chris Bosh and being upset about not gettting him. Time to get excited for my Rockets. Time to watch these players have a ful year together to become a great team!!!!

And if y'all are really longing for a big move. You know Morey will be doing his thing throughout the rest of FA and up until the trade deadline.

Exactly. I know some will see my response as a sore loser mentality, but the reality is that if Bosh picked Chicago, CLE/NJ with LeBron, or a sign-and-trade option like the Mavs, Spurs or Lakers, I wouldn't have blamed him one bit. He's a free agent and he can do what he chooses, and certainly the championship blueprint here does have a major question mark surrounding Yao and his feet.

But Miami, with Wade and 10 scrubs, is not a title contender. They're the second coming of the Atlanta Hawks - good enough to consistently win around 50 games, but not at all a serious threat to do anything of note. MIA last year, with 47 wins in the East, was roughly equivalent to HOU (42 wins in the West), with zero from Yao Ming and only about 20 games from Kevin Martin. Whether Yao and KMart will give you a full season is unknown, but I do think it's a safe bet you'll get more than a combined 20 games.

And with Miami, you can't even look at 47 as the baseline, if you're Bosh, because the Heat basically gutted their entire team outside of Wade to get the cap room to sign him. It makes absolutely no sense from a basketball standpoint, assuming LeBron doesn't go there. That's where I do blame him as a pro basketball player.

 

No biggie, I agree that he is not a "lead" star. I am glad we won't have all our $$ tied up in this guy, he has top talent but is not a leader. His talent will get him a max contract but without a guy leading the team he will never get you a ring. Wade is that top guy in Miami but we don't have one.

 

Exactly the fans played themselves if they got excited about Bosh possibly signing with Houston.


Wade and Bosh knew all along they were going to end up in Miami just like LeBron knew all along he would end up back at Cleveland.

These 3 guys have been toying with fans and the media for the past few weeks when I think they knew where they would end up for the past few weeks.

Pretty sure they did all of this because this free agency class was hyped up and they just wanted to make it live up to the hype by creating false hope and drama.

 

On the brightside, Bosh, Wade and most likely Lebron won't be going to the Knicks. Only Amare, our Knicks pick should be in the 9-14 range at least.

I really like the squad we currently have. Morey will just have to work his magic and find someone to spell Yao for 10-15 min.

I didn't want the chemistry of this team to be gutted and ruined by an overpriced superstar.

I think James will sign with Miami now. These guys have decided to announce today so it sets the dramatic one hour presentation for ESPN for James and then they will talk about the "Mega team" for an hour.

Anyways, I'm fine with Scola as our starting PF next year. Bosh would have been nice though.

At least the hype is over now. We can move on with the rest of FA. Honestly, I like how the Rockets are constructed and there are ways to improve this team for next year.

Well Ok now that 's over the bigger question is whether Lebron goes to the Knicks or not. If he does not I think the NY picks still have good value although its not as good as hoped. I do not hink the Knicks are done this off season. Bosh would have been nice not necessarily a player of need in my opinion. We need a center Jefferson is more of what we need than Bosh and we could likely get him without giving up Scola. Brad Miller if signed could prove to be an important pick up. Miami will be good but with the right decisions being made Houston will be the better team and have more depth of talent. Rockets fans this may be a blessing in disguise!!

 

The Rockets are a 55+ win team with Yao and no other changes, it's not like we are the Knick's if they dont get Lebron.

Bosh + Wade in Miami, good team and better than before but realy, where is their depth? 3rd best option, Michael Beasly or Jermain O neal?? I'd prefer to have Brooks or Scola as our 3rd and 4th.

 

Agreed, let's trade for Chris Paul, so that we have a chance at getting LeBron in 2013 when he opts out of his contract with Cleveland.
