How funny would it be if Wade pulled an Elton Brand... and left Miami for us after Bosh signed.

    Plan B should be.

    1. don't panic.
    2. don't overpay for a non franchise player like Boozer.
    3. try to land a star at the trade deadline.

Are you kidding?! Has anyone ever held a a one-hour special to announce who their signing with? Not even Clemens or ARod have pulled that crap.

The egos of these guys are reaching epic proportions and the media outlets are just enablers. May every single one of them...Lebron, Bosh and Wade...crash and burn with whatever team they choose. Good riddance. I'd much rather have a Chuck Hayes or Luis Scola...guys who are hungry, humble and team players.

Wow, this makes no sense for Bosh. Even with Wade and Bosh, Miami isn't a good team, with little hope of getting better beyond striking gold on a 15th or 16th pick next year. It seems like they are more interesting in making a splash than being good.

If Bosh wanted to win, he would have come to Houston, or went with Wade to Chicago. As it is, I have a hard time seeing the Heat winning more than 50 games.

    You're delusional.

Adding miller would make us slightly better, maybe even enough to eek into the playoffs. And if Yao goes down again (which is not farfetched), game over.

I think we can go ahead and scratch PF off our list of targets at this point. There was no way to get LeBron or Wade, and Bosh was a longshot. But since DM thought he might have the pieces to court one of the top 3 free agents, he decided to go for it. But with Scola, Hill and Hayes already on the team, I think the focus should be on a backup center and SG. I understand going after Bosh, but no need to dwell on that position now that it's over. The team has more pressing areas of need.

Dwayne wade's performance in the finals vs. Dallas was like Ray Allen going for a record setting 8 three pointers vs. the lakers and then going 0-14 or something like that. It was a flash of brilliance followed by a historic slump. Its like he used all his mojo to win that title and of course there was that dominant big man and he was not named shaq, Alonzo mourning was more dominant in that series in my opinion well coupled with shaq they had a strong interior presence.

Never wanted bosh, he is a leading candidate for slacker of the year and he is going to leave like 30 million dollars on the table to pursue his man love for dwayne wade. The heart truly has reasons that reason knows nothing of.

I can understand thinkg this team won't win it all, but not in the playoffs? Come on. At bare minimum, the West is going to be easier this year.

And I think people are overreacting really. While this decision surprises me, (and until the paper is on the line, I can't believe Bosh wants to go for five years that badly) there's no reason to slam Bosh. Secondly, Miami does have about 19 million left, so they could probably get some guys to help along, though they do have seven roster spots to fill.

What's Ryan Bowen doing these days?

Miami still won't be all that great. After Wade and Bosh you have..?

    Not Lebron?

The Heat just have to sign the DD All Stars for minimum contracts. Mike Harris, Von Wafer, V-Span, Nachbar, and crew would be enough to complete a championship caliber team.
