PLEASE Morey, go for Mike Miller or Ray Allen! If we got one of them and Brad Miller, I actually think we can make LOTS of noise in the playoffs.

Relieved we didn't get Bosh, time to move on. I was relatively certain he wasn't coming here. I want Jefferson and Miller and continue to develop the young talent. That may not make the Rockets a contender, but the team would be much improved if we can keep the core intact. Every team in the playoffs has a chance, some get hot (Suns), some get cold (Orlando and the Mavs) so anything can happen.

No, No, No. Ray Allen is OLD and Mike Miller is overpriced.

This man is overrated....I see no championships on his watch to give him so much praise.

Told you guys. I called it for a year, Chris Bosh wasn't coming to the Rockets. Finally I can change my signature. Foolish dreamers thinking he gonna come here.

Ray Allen made 18 million last year: I don't think so! Only TMac made more!!! I like the Brad Miller suggestion, for the right discounted price. I think he still has a little left in the tank.

Overrated by what standard? The guys has re-tooled the roster and provided new blood to a team that was full of guys like Moochie Norris. How many other GMs have a championship to their name while Morey has been the GM?

this is exactly whats going to happen from now on...the same way people turned on bosh overnight, they too will turn on morey....why? Because fans place unrealistic or unlikely expectations on them. We were never one of bosh's main options, just like Morey's main options werent to bring in superstar or make a big move. thoese are just possibilities, but realistically this team will not change much and now that it's becoming clearer and clear people are going to turn on bosh/morey and who knows who else.

the sad part its not the fault of either of them, it's the fans and their BS speculation, predictions, and expectations.

i really do hope lebron goes to the heat just so that when they never amount to anything, it will show how much of a joke the NBA has become.

Now that's not fair! To his credit, he did trade away Donte Green and a first round pick for a year of Ron Artest. Now wasn't that a fun thing to watch?

The Heat will do well in the East. Don't know why everyone thinks they will suck  . They will find the right pieces to compliment their big two.

Morey couldnt close the deal. Cant fault him for Bosh not wanting to consider but can say he didnt sell Houston enough for it to be even more heavily considerd. it didnt seem like Bosh had one thought towards us but to try and get the SNT from Toronto to Miami. It backfired in his face because I see Chalmers and Beasley are still his teammates. So he is 30 million dollars poorer for it. I dont feel sorry him. Morey didnt make his mind think hard enough about money though. He sold wins and he should have sold money. Wins are a given with the Rockets if he came here even without Yao. I expect Miami will have a similar record to ours now next year and maybe a little ahed of us but not Championship aspirations over there in the East Vs Boston and Magic and Maybe even Chicago who i hear got Boozer now. So he will just sit there but they can build to a Chmapionship ion a few years though now. 30 million dollars poorer if it doesnt work out. Also Morey did a good job just didnt sell us better. Bosh's decision was preconcieved and he came out finally like he always knew it was. That means thinking about Houston and our team really didnt have much in his thought process or Morey didnt sell it enough.

    bosh topic should be over.

here is what it should be the conclusion of bosh's free agency chaos.

SVG on Chris Bosh Joining Wade: "Well, he's been following him around for two weeks like his lapdog. So that doesn't really surprise me."

damned either way...if he gets the S&T he's "money hungry", but if he settles for 10 mill less then he messed up and is poorer for it...

Morey didnt mess up. bosh didnt make a bad decision. Why cant fans just understand he didnt want to be here more than he wanted to be in Miami?

Winning is great. Rings are great. But overall i cant blame a guy who decided to raise his family in sunny Miami beach all while playing next to Wade and pretty much being one ofthe top dogs on the team. He'll have more pull with managed there than he would have here. It's a business. A job. Why would you want to work beachside, with a good co worker and have a lot of control or major input into the decisions made by your employer?

Hope James goes to Heat also. The trio will eat up most of the cap space, but James + Wade won't be better than James playing 48 mins alone, because both of them need ball in their hand, unfortunately only one ball on the court. A James without ball in hand is not better than Landry or Martin.

Id much rather have 30 million more dollars and do all that in the summer with my friends. 30 million more dollars is a huge price to pay for beach front property to play basketball at. I really dont care. He is not our problem anymore and dont see why anyone else does now? Its over and he is a Heat player. When he comes we will cheer for the Rockets wont we? Yesterdays news. Lebron is the news now and Rockets.
