Getting Lebron would make their situation worse. They would definitely have to settle for scrubs as role players.

We had no chance of getting Bosh, but with Morey we had little chance, so I'm not at all disappointed because we tried. If he isn't wearing a Rockets uniform, I don't care. Hiya Bosh, when you want to play for the Rockets next time around, by then we wouldn't want you unless you sign for the minimum.

To all of you talking about us being sour or whatever because of Bosh, face it, whether you know or not, Bosh has become the next loser on our sh** list. Please Lebron, join your girlfriends in Miami so that we can see your punkass pout after another playoff exit. Please!!!

Ugh... Bosh + Houston = championship? Really??

Bosh in Houston = Unhappy due to not playing with either LeBron or Wade = Crappy performance, bad PR, drama = T-Mac or Pippen
Bosh in Houston = Inability to lockup Brooks, Budinger, Hill, and/or Taylor to long-term contracts in the event that they develop into big impact players, possibly stars.

Bosh in Houston = first two successful seasons, last 4 seasons of b****ing and photoshopping the pain threads.

DM what he could; giving Bosh 20 minutes is all he deserved.

It would seem he had a better chance at winning a championship with the Rockets. He also could have gotten back to Texas and presumably made more money. Oh, well. I guess Bosh knows what's most important to Bosh. Any one team's chances of getting him were pretty low anyway. It'll be interesting to see what Plan B Morey has been working on.

Houston seemingly has a better supporting cast

but there's a clear counterargument from Bosh's perspective for Miami.

    1) if they both take less money they can keep beasley and sign at least 2 other decent pieces

    2) Wade has demonstrated that the league will HELP HIM if he gets to the finals and make potential game-winning calls for him. Yao, Dirk etc have NOT demonstrated that. "Greater chance at championships" hmm... in $tern'$ NBA it's hard to argue that anyone on the Houston Rockets can carry a team when it counts and get the call from $$tern to allow them to close out championships

    3) Riley versus Adelman & Morey. Riley has won championships.

Overall Houston IS a better team but to think there aren't some arguments for Miami is silly

The GOOD news is that Wade and Bosh aren't signing with the Knicks. If they can't land LeBron (and it's not looking very likely), those two first-rounders could end up being lottery picks.

My point was that just not anyone can fill in and be a role player.

While Payton and Walker may have been washed up vets...they were still very solid players...and don't even get me started on Posey. Posey is pretty much Shane Battier in what he brings to a team, just without the big name.

Why would Fisher leave the Lakers last I heard the Lakers wanted to sign Raja Bell...if I were Bell i'd rather play for the Lakers than the Heat.

Lets just go with what they have now...Chalmers, Beasley, and Hasbrouck...they have A LOT of work to do even be a Elite team in the East IMO.

I put teams with depth and quality at 5 positions over teams with just a superstar or two. Hawks, Magic, Celtics, and wherever Lebron goes if it's not Miami will be better than them. And Possibly the Bulls if they land Boozer or some post presence on offense.

Now they may finish in the top 4, but depth always wins out in 7 game series. As I said before this reminds me more of Yao and Tmac, two superstars with not much around them going into next year, obviously this Miami team has a lot of work to do if they think they can hang with the Magic or Celtics.

Good for him, I'm not surprised he chose Miami. Beautiful weather, beaches, women.. It's not the end of the world guys, DM knows what he's doing. I'm glad we didn't get rid of Scola for this guy.

I really think Lebron is going to Miami, fill that team up with NBDL players and you have a 60 win team.

At that point how much left over will they have to sign a starting PG and Center? Then also their bench? Someone said above that getting Lebron will make this team worse off...I agree. Celtics got lucky with both Rondo and Perkins and have been active for getting role players.

Also Miami and it's weather is fine unless it's not Hurricane season. Also beautiful women all over the world, not just in Miami.

Well maybe now Miami can actually sell tickets to their games :p

No bad feelings. Hill and Chuck serve backup C. Scola and PPat at 4. We'll have a solid roster even no plan B. Well mixed with veteran and young force. This team will play with passion and toughness. Bosh will regret for sure.

Finally it's over! While it would have been nice to have bosh, I'll gladly return to over valuing our current players and loving the rockets team we have now and in the future.

P.s. Wouldn't it be ironic/awesome if the rockets swept the heat in the finals

False David Lee midrange game improved tremendously.

With that said I'd rather have Scola for a cheaper price.

Why is there a tread about 2 Miami players in the "Houston Rockets 2010: Game Action & Roster Moves" section of the forum???

    SF: ?
    PF: Haslem resigned

Wade on ESPN radio said that Bosh wanted to go to Miami all along, and Wade chose Miami because of Bosh.

We were never in his consideration
