The best thing about Wells is that he will help with the rebounding and can be a go-to player if McGrady, or Yao goes down. He may be a headcase, but he's *our* headcase! Think the Rockets might try to get another 4/5 with the trade exception?
This seems surreal, is it? I am going to Yahoo sports to check. If this is legit, Rockets are officially a contender. Now the young guys can earn their way in, rather than be a critical key to the team's success. This is huge, if true. And the Astros just won in 15 to keep pace. This is almost too much for a long time Houston sports fan. We aren't used to this.
This takes some of the sting out of the Battier trade now. Hopefully Bonzi can be what Anderson was supposed to be for us last year. Here's hoping for a healthy 82 game season and hopefully playoffs from our core of players.
