If i were Tmac id want him here too....I just mean # of shots and how they will gell as a Team.....How soon we forget Mobley/Francis.....Bonzi's not know for his passing skills...Now dont get me wrong....Mobely/Francis are a poor mans Tmac/Wells.....Im just somewhat skeptical till I at least see a couple of games
I actually think it's a good thing that he'll be playing for a big payoff next offseason. This way we know if won't be lazy or a malcontent since Wells money is going to be directly tied to his perfomance this year. Maybe a 1 year rental but I think we'll get top performace out him
If this what you're referring to? "Bonzi doesn't care about starting," Scott said. "He just wants to be some place he can contribute." His agent is just saying he doesn't care about starting not that he doesn't intend to start. Not much substance there, just saying the right things for the moment.
Yeah I think you are right and there will be benefits to us this way, but if we don't win next year we will be in a spot again next offseason trying to find "the missing piece."
Depends on how close Rocks are to paying lux tax. If there's no more room they'll most probably let it expire.
Well time will tell how good this team can be, esp. considering we haven't seen how this team can play
Bonzi has averaged 10 shots per game for his career so it is not as if he is a high volume shooter. So unless you are also worried about Juwan or Rafer taking too many shots and working with McGrady, that is just silly.
No i was referring to the end where they say the potential starting lineup http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2605639
don't really think the number of shots will matter. with him averaging 13 point something ppg, i'm sure that he didn't take a large number of shots to get that total (i'm too lazy to look it up). edit... rimbaud beat me to it.
Considering Wells is going to be playing for a fat contract next season, I think Well is going to be a model citizen and team member
