lamar is a product of a system. he fit really well into the triangle, and the lakers knew this so they gave him away for what he is really worth. they won't want him back unless they are desperate for a 2nd unit SF, especially after seeing what he did in dallas.
I never mentioned nor disputed an obligation to give an honest effort. My problem is still the fact that the Mavs are getting a free pass on this despite the fact they knew they were taking a chance when they traded for Lamar and they ended up losers.
