I wouldn't complain about the NBA season so long if there were actually a premium on playoff spots. In a league that lets in more teams to the playoffs than it excludes, there's no need for an 82 game season. Except that they make money off of it.
I like the NBA season. I like the MLB season. I'd like football to go longer if I didn't know better; those teams are M*A*S*H units as it is by week 17.
