Are you forgetting that Ou gets pretty good guard play from Nolan and JR Raymond. Eduardo and for that matter OU simply are no match for Cincy's thoroughbreds. Really if you look to the end of the year Nolan Johnson was most of their offense, because El Hoopo's outsidde shot was really not falling, and he was picking up his points on garbage. I respect Najera and I think he will have an NBA career because of his desire and intensity (if not only for his marketablility to the Mexican fans). He will not be a particularly special player due to the fact that he is a tweener and he is not particularly athletic.

Back when OU played Cincinnati the only big threat they had was Eduardo and the other guys like JR, Nolan, and Hollis were still growing together as a team and OU was not a good team despite being 9-0 against cupcake teams. Eduardo was rated the best SF in the Chicago camp specifically for his athleticism. He has shed 10 lbs since the season and looks better than he ever has in his OU career according to Monter. He lead the Chicago camp in steals, so he must be pretty solid to lead in steals and he also rebounded well and scored well. I think Eduardo has proven himself time and time again and somebody will end up with the steal of the draft in the second round.

I see your Sooner myopia working, and that said...I will say that Eduardo will be a...productive NBA player. I simply hate the guy because of how many times he has b****ed Texas...especially in my presence at Erwin (except this year). He especially got into Gabe's head frequently..except at Texas this year. To me he's almost the Mailman of college hoops, except not quite that good.

And it's apparent that his trash talking works because he b****ed slaps UT every time they played. If Gabe can't stand the heat then he needs to get out of the kitchen. I don't know how many times we got free points out of Gabe Muoneke because he would get called for T's after ,actually, Renzi Stone riled him up. And I'll tell you something else, not only Gabe but a lot of other Texas players trash talked to OU players and given Gabe's track record I would venture to say that he started it a lot of the times and other times OU guys did. But my point is, to say that Eduardo trash talked a lot without even pointing out that Gabe or somebody else probably had something to do it some of the times is ludicrous. Atleast Eduardo never punched anybody because he was mad. You know, I'm sorry, but Eduardo won a freaking award for good sportsmanship this year. And I really have never seen Eduardo start anything in the past. If all he does is trash talk then I don't think I have a problem with that. Most of the good players do trash talk anyway when you think about it. I've seen worse crimes done to humans. So as John Stossel would say, GIVE ME A BREAK!

I love Najera on the Rockets. I woln't take anything away from any Texas players because of the bias views of the administrators could cause me to be kicked off.

To put it short, OU is a great School and team, Najera is an awesome player and woudl do great as a 2nd rounder for the Rockets.

    Go sooners go Rockets

Eduardo...good sportsman??? Please he's very dirty. I respect him but don't try to make him to be a good sportsman, he's so dirty.....I don't even want to expound on it. Gabe is hot tempered and all of the incidents he had in his junior year were inexcusable. His temper was much more controlled and he killed ya'll in the Erwin this year. After his incidents he was a marked man by officials, and he was slapped with a lot of cheap fouls, etc. As a Texas fan I feel my hatred of El Hoopo is justified .

Whatever, all I know is he won the Chip Hilton Player of the Year award. The award values sportsmanship, playing ability, and academic standing. Eduardo is a great sportsman and and won the player of the year award for that to back him up. So, whatever! This is my last post on this subject because quite frankly this is a stupid arguement and I don't want another battle with Texas fans because our bickering is stupid and childish.
