well, he's apparently 6'4" and 190 but I just don't see it. He's a TERRIBLE shooter from what scouts say, but then again Pete Maravich (who he's being compared too) wasn't all that big either...I just have a feeling, and with the progress brooks is showing, why bench that?

hell there is a great chance you are right. but from what i have seen of the kid he is 18 and really good. i think by 22 he will be 3 or 4 point guard in the league. just my opinion.
ariza is an upgrade defensively over artest, and would actually be a better fit next to t-mac and yao if both were healthy. obviously he doesn't have the offensive skills to carry a team like artest but I like this tradeoff.
