Even if we had a scoring 4 and 5 we still couldn't be a good team starting both of those guys. You have to have some sort of scoring threat at the 2 or 3. I can't think of one championship team in recent history that didn't. Signing Ariza better mean that we are moving battier because 13 mill for two wings that can't score is a bit much.

7 million a year after a playoff performance?

Look for Batman to get traded.

Good signing. Ariza is more athletic, younger, and at this point in their respective careers Ariza plays better defense against quick players. He can also play WITHIN an offense.

Does acquiring Ariza hurt our chances of getting Rudy Fernandez down the road? I hope there's no bad blood between the two after that flagrant Ariza committed last season.

Ariza is Von Wafer who plays defense and is not a headcase.

    Ariza>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Artest

And ariza is only 24 and his lateral quickness is much better than artest at this point in his career and although he might not have the career yet that artest has had however even artest defensive player of the year year was not better than ariza year last year

Perhaps not this year, but toward the end of it I think it's definitely a bargain.

If you think Rubio is smaller than Brooks you have been watching the wrong guy.

I love this signing, who knows Ariza might develop even more since Yao and Tmac are out. He has room to develop as long as he is a hard worker.
