Patterson and Lee for #2? Rockets tried 10 different scenarios to no avail? This must be scenario #11.

They would probably have to take back Flynn and/or Randolph to get it done.

Going off history, anything reported in the media is most likely not going to happen. It's always something we least expect. So don't be surprised to see Lebron in a Rockets jersey by the end of the night.

I dont think taking back Randoph would be a bad deal, if it means drafting someone who DM sees as a superstar. Pat Pat, Lee + 14 and 23 for #2 and Randolph... where do i sign!?

Thats a good deal for both sides imo.. I'd hate to give up Pat, but have to give up something if you want something.

Patterson, Lee and #14 for #2? That's a deal you don't even have to think about.

Lets say we DO ship out Patterson/Lee/#14 for the #2 (and whatever filler Kahn throws at us). If we draft Kanter, we still have Scola at the PF spot. If we draft Williams he, IMO, can play a good amount of time at the SF spot alongside Hayes and Scola in the front court. Either way, it's a win-win.

Agreed if you were dealing with a rational team and GM. With Minnesota you have to go the opposite way, think of the trash we have on this team, and offer that, throw in a coditional pick, and their eyes light up.

I think Derrick Williams is a store in the waiting, but there's no way we brought Kevin McHale in to draft a tweener. If we land #2 overall it's for Kanter.

People who reach the level of NBA general manager have massive egos and a fair amount of self-confidence. Only on Clutchfans would one suggest that Morey is so revered that all the other GM's are afraid to deal with him. This guy's legend here is just enormously ridiculous. If he doesn't make a deal...it's because everyone's afraid of him.....if he does make a deal, he's a genius.
