    1. No, I can't get by without 3 hours of sports talk on weekend mornings. I am a sports fan. I need 24 hour, round the clock sports talk.

    2. ESPN Radio is perfect. That's why I listen to 790 and not 610. However, before 790 came into existence, I hated Tom Tyman and 610 b/c I had no other option.

    3. When you're at the gym working out, you can't exactly listen to streaming radio on the Internet.

No one says you don't have to like Tynan. He's just on the wrong station, that's all.

i'm really not a Tynan hater...I'm just not interested. there are tons of radio stations that run programming like that on Saturday morning. I just wish my favorite sports radio station would not. i'm sure another station would pick up tynan locally if 610 dropped it.

The most annoying thing about Tynan is that he also pops up on the local "all sports" station in Corpus, at exactly the same timeslot as the 610 show. Except, it's a syndicated version (I guess) or tape delayed or something. So I'm stuck with 2 stations of crap to listen to instead of sports on Saturday mornings, which is generally when I'm in my car running errands and listening to the radio. I wonder how much he pays stations to carry his 2 (or is it 3) hour long commercials for his and his friends/sponsors' products.
