pg: Thunder, Rockets, Spurs, Clippers. (only because Parker looks to have fallen off a cliff otherwise it's the Spurs first) sg : Spurs, Rockets, Clippers, Thunder (okc's is just horrible!) sf : Rockets, Thunder, Spurs, Clippers. (Roberson isn't good) pf : Clippers, Spurs, Rockets , Thunder (extremely deep for all teams) c : Thunder (by far first) , Spurs, Rockets, Clippers
They expect it to be different because hes leaving GSW who just had a great season other than that he does not warrant the hype imo. The whole Pelicans org from coaches to players are getting overrated at the moment. Anthony Davis is very very good but people are placing him on lebron/KD level and just automatically putting him above Harden and Curry which is just insane. The guys a talent Forsure but he hasn't produced one victory in the playoffs or win 50 games in the regular season yet. He might put up gawdy numbers but he's not a leader yet and doesn't have any go to moves yet. In the playoffs this season he kept attacking the paint trying to use his athletism and length to get by and against GSW he largely was ineffective. I guess what I'm really saying is if he's so good which I def think he is then why is it his team is projected to finish worse than GSW and HOU but he's better than the league mvp and the runner up of said teams? Doesn't make much sense to me. Now Gentry is just hype he ran dantonis offense with Nash and Amare he did not come up with any of his own ideas and he's never been a great head coach he's under 500 record with over 700 games coached says enough.
How do u have the Spurs as deeper at sg than us and us deeper than okc at sf? I'm sorry but one James harden and one KD makes u the tops of any list imo and it's really not close.
deep. Are you going to play your stars 40+ mins in the regular season? After Harden the Rocket's sg fall off a cliff while the Spurs have Ginobilli. Same for OKC and Roberson. At least I suppose the Rockets can put terry too some minutes at the two and brewer. But that was done strictly looking at the depth chart.
It's possible that you haven't watched Ginobili play over the last few seasons? And at any rate - depth isn't everything, you still have to take into consideration when the #1 player is all-world MVP, like Harden. Also why Westbrook makes the PG position #1 for OKC, in my opinion.
Disagree. Kj is bsically little more than a rookie and don't know if he will even break the rotation. Thorton is a scrub. None of the backups offer any playmaking. That was a ranking based on depth. Not quality of starters.
well we shall see how he looks like. I don't think that considering retiring in his case means that he can't walk. More like that he wants to move on in his life. Anyway...if you take in account the versatility sg is better for the rockets because of Brewer and Terry anyway.
KJ is an athletic wing he's already solid . Thorton is a shooter. Add in Harden and it's a wrap. Like would you rather have the Spurs SG's than the Rockets SGs?
I would rather have Harden lol BUT if you want to save minutes to keep your players fresh you have to be deep, Harden can't play 35+. And I consider the Rockets' depth at sg as shown in that chart very bad. KJ can't shoot and cant playmake at all, and Thorton is a scrub shooter. But anyway I sure would prefer to have Harden ofc.
Also Chris Paul missed games in that series, and when he did play he played injured and not at his level. Chris Paul is worth more to the Clips then Bev is worth to us. Also...because of his fatigue at the end of seasons Bev doesn't generally play great in the playoffs. And last year our backup PG, JET, played awesome in the playoffs. In all fairness I can see the Clips as good if not ranked higher than us.
Please take off the homer glasses. PG: Superstars win in this league. You take Westbrook by himself over both our pgs easily, but don't forget about DJ augustin, who is better than bev as a backup pg. SF: Ariza and Brewer over Kawhi Leonard? Neither of those 2 guys are even better than Danny Green let alone Kawhi Leonard, who is a top 15 player in the NBA. Silliness. Everything else is fair.
We have never seen Bev as a back up. He has only been in the league 3 years as a starter and all defense team PG. DJ has been a career back up for 7 years. Bev is clearly better than DJ. Clearly. Look at last year's production out of DJ. Danny Green is not better than Ariza. That dog won't hunt. 30 teams out of 30 teams would take Ariza over Green. Now Green better than Brewer? In terms of steals and fast break buckets? Not even close. 3pt% Green is better than Brewer. I'd still take Brewer over Green.
This is a completely homeristic post. At least better than the one last week that Brewer was better than a healthy Gallo.
