So, JLin is a top 20 PG, yet he is most often discussed in the company of Rubio and Kyrie, rated at 47 and 22, respectively.

 

I believe Kyrie is a bit overrated at this time due to his enormous amount of "talent", but he does seem to have what it takes to be a top 50 player. Rubio seems to me to be on the fringes of the top 50, frankly speaking, due to his lack of an offense, or more specifically a shot. The point guard as, first and foremost, an offensive leader, has to be an offensive threat to lead a great offense. I think if Lin plays to what he has shown last year to be capable of, he'll also be in the top 50. I have no idea who will be better among those 3, as I haven't annointed Kyrie yet, as most seems to have already. All I know is, all 3 have earned the right to be talked about from their play last year.

Nice list. I have to put Parker ahead of Rondo since Rondo cannot shoot. Dude can't even hit the broadside of a barn or the Atlantic Ocean sometimes.

The rest of the list will shake itself out as we now have a full regular season to see what these guys can do without having to play 3 games in 3 consecutive nights every other week.

 

If you take Popovich out of the equation, Tony Parker falls out of top 5. Everyone overachieves when they play for Pop. The sum of team is greater than each individual player.

Don't forget Rondo is one of the best defensive PGs in the league and a triple double threat at any given game.

Conley is kind of average. You can make a good case for Calderon above him, as long as Calderon is healthy which he isn't half the time.

John Wall is to much hype for my liking he is low in all of my lists. Also Rondo is a tad bit overrated. Put Parker on another team and he will still be extremely effective I would take Nash over Rondo. Goran and Lin are about the same & Lowry is better than both.

John can't shoot nothing too. And he is still too young to be a floor general. I dislike low basketball IQ which compared to those elite ones.
