why would our chemistry suffer. Did you not see the record we had when Yao and TMax played together this season?
I guess you were too young to watch the Dream in the Championship years. If you did see him then keep in mind that Dream did all of that in the playoffs under pressure and no one else on the team even compared to him talent wise.
I was just thinking that, any homer from Dallas, San Antonio, and L.A or any casual NBA fan who knows anything about BBall would read this post and say WTF. Even they would be shocked by this post even though they hate the Rockets. The post by "CoolGuy" has got to be one of the worst posts in history. How are these guys allowed in the BBS? Maybe it was a quote he used in 2002 when Yao had a questionable future to "certain" people but he has proven what he can do the last couple of years. I can't believe there is still hate even in this Forum. Is this guy a Magic fan that refuses to let TMac go?
Good points, also the past 5 games the Rockets have been outrebounded and have given up way too many points besides the Celtics game. Deke was doing very well after Yao's injury but he is showing signs now that he is human and can not play a lot of minutes at such a high level this late in the season. Hence the reason we got Jake and between him and Deke I think we will do ok. This is a ridiculous argument though just like everyone thinking Tmac was finished and sucked now and he will never be the same. Have a little faith in your team. I know a lot of it was brought on by Tmac but you should know now that Tmac's interviews were way off base. I know several of us called bull on his comments about himself not being as good as he was and blah, blah, blah but now look at him. Remember when you were concerned about him and our team after Yao went out. That is how I think a lot of people who think Yao will "disrupt" chemistry when he gets back. Give me a break!
I've had a strong distaste for Skip since if first heard him on the radio subbing for Jim Rome. They got rid of Woody (well, he left for Denver) and should do the same with Skip. When Woody & Skip were together, I rarely agreed with either one which is really hard to do when they take opposite sides.
