    Not sure if this has already been posted, but ESPN has Harden at #5 in MVP voting and Howard at #6.

    While Harden and Howard are understandably far behind LeBron and Durant in voting, the media clearly views Houston's "Big 2" as one of the best, if not THE best, in the league. No other team had a 2 players receive votes except for the Spurs--caveat is that Duncan only received a single point and Parker only four points.

    Also receiving votes:
    6) Dwight Howard, Rockets (12);
    7) Carmelo Anthony, Knicks (9);
    8) Stephen Curry, Warriors (6);
    9) Paul George, Pacers (5);
    10) Tony Parker, Spurs (4);
    11) Kyrie Irving, Cavaliers (2);
    12) Tim Duncan, Spurs (1).

    Still can't believe we actually have players who are MVP worthy.

    It's a testament to the truly amazing job Morey has done over the past few years... considering our roster in 2011 was this:

    MVP is a one-horse race (so is it even a race?).

    Ha, not really. I still have friends acting like LeBron won't win again smh.

    But still, to have 2 Rockets on that list is amazing.

    First, I think Durant has a legitimate shot to win MVP, so I don't think its a one horse race.

    But my point was that the Rockets have two players who have received votes. That's not something to scoff at IMO.

    Kevin Durant doesn't have much of a shot, as long as LeBron is still playing.

    LeBron was one vote shy of taking the award unanimously. If not for Derrick Rose, we'd be talking about LeBron winning the award five years in a row. (Possibly six this upcoming year.)

    Agree otherwise. It's great for the Rockets. They have two top players in the league.

    So you thought Derrick Rose deserved it that year? The award is always up for grabs and can potentially be taken.

    I have/had no problem with Rose winning it.

    And yeah, I mean I suppose it could be taken or given to someone else. Just not likely. ;)

    Kind of a joke to put DRose at #4 until we see how he plays post injury. He should scrape in at #10 at best.

    Paul George should not be in the top 10 either.

    I would've put Harden at 4 and Dwight at 5. I see Rose averaging like 18 points and 6 assists this year as he finds his groove this year

    Durant absolutely has a shot.

    Durant can score better than LeBron.

    If Durant can get his average to over 30 ppg, then people will be looking at him as the MVP.

    Even though it's only a few more points than he's averaging now, when a player averages over 30 a game, the voters give that a lot of weight.

    Durant is very capable of averaging over 30 a game.

    Nah, LBJ is at that point now, after two rings, where basically if he just stays healthy and puts up the same numbers as usual, its his hardware.

    Honest question here, if the Heats didn't go on that winning streak, would Lebron have won the MVP?

    Parker should be in the top 5. He is unstoppable.
