    Are you serious?

In horse racing, it's when the same horse wins the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness and the Belmont.

In baseball, it's when the same player leads the league in HRs, RBI and average.

In Houston, it's my favorite bar.

That wasn't a beat down - it was a sucker punch on someone who was trying to break up a fight (read "The Punch").

A beatdown is what would have happened if Calvin Murphy hadn't have been held back. Murph would have whipped his ASS. Just ask him.

It wasn't really a sucker punch. The guy heard someone coming in and instinctively turned around and threw a punch. It was very unfortunate, but it's not like Washington meant to hurt him, he was doing what he thought was best to protect himself in that situation.

I didn't know that the news anchor had time in his busy schedule to appear on Jeopardy! :p

I think you mean Ken Jennings, not Peter Jennings.

speaking of Ken Jennings, did anything come about from the rumor that he intentionally lost? i even remember the question and thought his answer (or should i say i remember the answer and thought his question) was a bit strange.

True dat. But since Rudy was a peacemaker and had his arms down and hands at his sides I still say it wasn't a beat down. Can't dis Rudy T on this board.

    :)
