So you've arrived at this conclusion based upon your own work with a stopwatch and the NBA's "Just trust us. We have 'sophisticated tools'." claim? Really? Is that it all it takes to convince you? http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=157133 Also, since we're quoting John Hollinger here it's worth noting what he originally stated in this Daily Dime article before he changed it for whatever reason: I have TIVO. I watched the replay probably 25-30 times at various speeds. The delayed clockwork was undeniable and went beyond any expected human error, IMO. This is all placing aside the obvious "Can you really catch, turn, pivot and shoot with full release ALL in 0.8 seconds? And did the buzzer REALLY go off as the ball was mid-air after all that?!" reservations you have merely out of common sense. Call me a homer, call me biased -- I just don't buy it. Forgive me for needing a little more proof than just the NBA's "word" that their "sophisticated tools" got it right. Show me those findings then i'll drop my complaints. What you just presented doesn't even begin to scratch the surface in that regard.
This game was at the beginning of the season, we are not going to get it back, it was a good shot. That's the end of it
Not that McGrady doesn't deserve the nickname, but I always thought that was Artest's bad. I would have thought he was suppose to switch to the high man on any screen like that(even though it was a pretty soft screen).
Do you know how much I love this game? Seriously. Look at this season. We're all still here. Even in frustration, the NBA is still great. Even when the refs can't call games worth crap, the NBA is still great.
