That be great, but it would never happen with the player's union unless the owners conceded something big like an extra 10% of the revenue cut.
Ersan needs to worry about his performance before demanding a trade... He acts as if Milwaukee is holding him back... Right now his mediocre play is holding him back.
Really? You don't think he's worth $8 mil? I actually think that's a value contract considering he's 6"10, can rebound and shoot lights out. He would absolutely own next to Dwight. No idea what the Bucks would want for him, but it's obvious that Henson is the future for the Bucks at the 4. ...plus maybe he can speak to Asik in Turkish about not acting like such a b****.
hes right ersan is better now, hes more polished for PLAYOFF style basketball, but his contract is until 2016, jones has more upside though...
Cause they're still young. It's only their second year in the league, of course they're not better than a 5 year vet, yet.
Couldn't agree more. You knew damn well who the Bucks were before you signed a deal that was obviously way more than any contending team was going to pay to sign him long term. Kinda makes me want to give a little more credit to some former Rockets Chuck Hayes and Carl Landry. Those guys knew what they were getting themselves into signing large deals with bad teams, but have never once asked publicly to be traded. Got no problem taking a pay day to help your family and your future financially. I'd do the same thing. But dont take the pay day, and then act like you were expecting that team to contend and ask to be traded.
No, TJones is not better than Ilyasova. Once again, you have to consider the different situations these guys are playing in along with their injuries, etc. Ilyasova has been dinged most of this season and he's playing in a terrible situation. I am still all for a Lin for Ilyasova/Ridnour trade. I think it makes sense for both teams. Milwaukee gets out of some long-term salary commitment to Ilyasova and actually save a few dollars. If we could pull off this deal and still retain Asik...at least for the balance of this season..I think you would see some synergy between Asik and Ilyasova and it could propel this team to great places. Ilyasova's contract is 1-year too long. However if his game recovers here (I'm convinced it would big time) then he becomes an easily trade-able commodity. And really...Asik/Ilyasova/Jones plus picks is a very good package to trade for a superstar later. I'd trade Lin for Ilyasova/Ridnour if that deal came on the table.
The guy is a career 40% 3 pt shooter. He's having a down year, so what. The two years before that are excellent. Do you think he's lost it at 26? The only cause for concern where Ersan is involved is the length of his contract, which is two more years...essentially taking us out of the Love/Aldridge 2015 sweepstakes.
