Damn not bad... http://www.miamiherald.com/2013/03/10/3278081/miami-heat-coach-erik-spoelstra.html Miami Heat Coach Erik Spoelstra shows off girlfriend Miami Heat Head Coach Erik Spoelstra with galpal Nikki Sapp MIKE JACHLES BY JOSE LAMBIET GOSSIPINK@AOL.COM Miami Heat Head Coach Erik Spoelstra finally brought out his significant other in public Saturday night. The notoriously private boyish 42-year-old stunned observers by stepping onto the red carpet of Heat broadcasters Eric Reid and Tony Fiorentino‘s yearly fundraiser with a beautiful, and much younger, brunette. The lady’s name is Nikki Sapp, and she started dancing at Heat games in 2006 — just after turning 18. The now 24-year-old Miami native shares time between Los Angeles and Miami because she’s a director at the famous Guy Hepner art gallery in West Hollywood, Calif., according to her website. Maaan those Miami Heat dancers...whooo. I done said it once and I'll say it again, those girls are bad. They can give the Laker girls and Knicks dancers a run for their money. And yeah, Spoelstra
Pretty much this. I didn't expect anything less. I've met Spoel a few times back here in his hometown Portland (he went to HS and College) locally... he still hangs out during the offseason. He seemed like your average laid back guy with normal friends who just happens to be the coach of the World Champs. The first time I met him was in the summer of 2011 after they lost the finals to the Mavs. Kind of a funny story... I was with a group of friends and saw him at the bar and I was like oh look it's Erik Spoelstra! and at first they were like "haha good one it really does look like him though".... a few of them didn't know it was him and that he's from the area plus it was like literally only a week or two after the Finals so they were wondering what Spoels was doing in Portland. Anyways, I was in the bathroom and as I was walking out Spoels comes in so I said "What's up Erik!" and he was like hey man it's been a while how are you doing (Jesuit right) ? He thought I was a highschool friend from back in the day and when I was like nah that's not me and so he was like oh how do you know me? I'm like uhh duhh you coach the Heat and so he was like oh you're a fan?! I was thinking not per se but yea.... He seemed genuinely excited that I recognized him without really knowing him. I know cool story bro but just wanted to share how humble he was.
Easiest coaching job in the league, got money, got a ring, and a good looking girl. Life is good for this man. Props
