Montross is still in the league? I can't believe out of all the centers available in the league (CBA included), someone wants to pick up Montross. Montross is at the top of his game...sad to say. I wouldn't even pay him the minimum, he's just taking a roster spot of someone else that could develop into a solid player. He is not an inside force. Where does everyone get that...besides from his college days. Most of the people on this board could produce the same numbers as Montross if we got the chance to play. ------------------

Get Montross???????????????????????????????? I would rather pay $2mil to the estate of Wilt Chamberlain to dig up the Stilt's decomposed body and prop it up in the paint. Wilt's dead corpse would play better D, get more rebounds and block more shots than Montross. Have I made my point? ------------------
Montross would kind of be a scaled down version of Cato, but with a longer contract... That is, he's not as good as Cato, but he could contribute. Cato can contribute too, but not enough to be a star. Cato is overpaid now, Montross is overpaid if you ask me at $2 million. But since $2 million is less than Cato makes, I guess you could argue that he's worth taking a look at.
