It's Splash Gordon. Anyone saying anything else is just jealous that they didn't think of it first. While we're on the subject of nicknames...people really need to stop with the whole initials + number and first letter of first name followed by first syllable of last name. Those type of nicknames are completely played out and unoriginal. Also, they need to start playing Queen's theme to Flash Gordon whenever Eric Gordon makes a 3pter but change the word "flash" to "splash". Hearing "Splash! A-ahhhhhhh! Savior of the universe!" with that killer bass line that follows would be the best in game audio in the NBA.
I like Splash Gordon because it just flows. Those not down with it probably not old enough to remember Flash Gordon. Plus he's right up there with Curry with 3PM and already a higher percentage. "Splash" Brothers came from "Bash" Brothers..... Mark McGuire and Jose Conseco were monster HRs hitters for the OAK Athletics. Both teams are Bay-Area "Splash" Gordon comes from "Flash" Gordon. I like the names... EGO is also good. Some players have multiple nicknames. Deion Sanders, Jordan, Barkley, etc. Splash and EGO are both good.
Splash Flash Gordon..... it aint that important as long as he continues to deliver and stay healthy, friend!
