Not sure this qualifies as news but whatever… The Houston Rockets could participate in a multi-team trade at some point this season involving Eric Gordon. The Rockets have shopped Gordon, who is signed through 23-24, in trade scenarios for some time now. An inevitable Jae Crowder trade with the Phoenix Suns is one area where the Rockets could participate in a three-team scenario. "Obviously, there were reports they were close to a [Jae Crowder] deal a couple weeks ago," said Zach Lowe on his podcast. "It didn't happen. Allegedly, it was a three-team deal. I've heard all sorts of different intel. "One team I would keep an eye on in any Crowder trade, or any trade like that, butting in is the Rockets with Eric Gordon. Just keep an eye on it. I'm not saying he would be going to any specific place. I'm just saying keep an eye on it." https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/269551/Rockets-Believed-To-Be-Discussing-Eric-Gordon-In-Multi-Team-Scenarios
The outcome will be that Gordon signs a contract extension during the summer to remain with the Rockets until retirement.
I heard that Phoenix wants Gordon bad, so they try the Crowder trade with Milwaukee: Crowder goes to Milwaukee, Grayson Allen and Dario Saric goes to the Rockets and Gordon to Phoenix, but Rockets did not want a lot of money coming back. then they tried the Golden State, Rockets and Phoenix trade did not work because of trading with your enemy is not good. Some way or somehow Gordon is going to Phoenix
Does Boston still have. a TPE? Gordon to Phoenix Crowder into Boston TPE and Bucks first go to Boston. Boston 2024 FRP lotto protected to Houston Phoenix 2023 FRP lotto projected to Houston
If that was true, why wouldn't we just take back Saric and Crowder? Both expirings? Perhaps PHX don't want to give up a pick and want to use Crowder to generate assets to give us?
Wonder why we can't trade ego? Well he is playing like garbage against the suns so let's scratch the suns off the list . They won't want him after this game.
No way Jose!!! That trade means less time on the court for our new superstar prodigy D Nix. We are set at PG with KPJ and Nix.
I'd definitely take that deal, but I doubt it's being offered for Gordon. They should really consider buying him out and letting him go to a contender of his choice. It'd be doing right by him, and it's the kind of pro-player move that other players recognize.
I thought a 4-team trade would be a nightmare to put together and highly unlikely, but this one seems to work for all. The Rockets would send out their MIL pick to the Pacers and the Lakers would need to send one of their future firsts to the Pacers as well. The Suns offload Crowder for EG, the Lakers get some shooting help and unload Russ for only one pick, the Pacers get good assets for Hield and Turner, and the Rockets get to have a trial run with Turner that doesn’t cost them any additional salary in case they decide to go a different direction in free agency.
"Nix coming across half-court, passes it to..........the hot girl in the third row, dang! those beers are expensive, I'll help her dry out those sweater. Anyway, another Rockets turnover." "Yeah, the coaching staff has been working with Nix. He's still a work in progress."

I posted this in the KMj thread as well. Indiana is sitting at #5 in the EC in the thick of the playoff hunt. They don't have a sf listed on their roster scoring even 8 ppg. We can take care of that AND give them some bench firepower in one fell swoop! EG and KMj for pg Andrew Nembhard.
