Reddish is on the cusp of getting paid; that’s scaring off teams, his and putative acquiring ones. He wants big bucks, hasn’t earned it. Pay on the come?

not sure where you're getting cusp of getting paid but nobody is paying reddish that will fit that statement. dude is coming off another terrible season, probably worse one yet. at this point he just isn't a good player. Hasn't been for a long time. it's that simple

my mistake, I thought this summer was his option year. He has one more year before.

I agree he’s barely worth getting the QO let alone PAID. But, my understanding is that he expects to get PAID.

In that case, he should be expecting to be disappointed then

guys who break out expect to get paid for good reason, guys who break down which is the case here should expect the opposite

    What I don't get is:

Stone, why now? Why make it known that you want to trade Eric Gordon when you can:

-Wait until the draft is over
-Wait until the FA period is over
    -Wait until the trade deadline
-Wait until AFTER the trade deadline
    -Wait until next summer

    ??? Why now???

You have to take the source into consideration - that dude's drunk ..... remember Patrick Baldwin is better than Banchero according to him.

I don't think the Knicks would give up the 11th pick without getting off Fournier's contract in our case. I'd be willingly to take back Fournier (this year and next year remaining) for the 11th.

EG+ 17 for Fournier + 11 and we try and flip 26 for a future late FRP or multiple SRP.

Who are you targeting at #11?

If #17 gets you Eason and #26 gets you Beauchamp, who at 11 is worth those two?

My guess is he really really wants to package 17, and 26 to move way up in the draft and thinks dangling EG is the best way to get that done this week.

I think he’s eyeing the Knicks at 11.

#11 gives us the option to get Jeremy Sochan, AJ Griffin or Benedict Mathurin.

No one in particular, just moving up in the draft to get the best player possible. Maybe Eason doesn't fall at 17?

Your work in the other "Stone, why now?" thread was impeccable. Haven't seen you posted that much in a thread in a while.

If that were a pliable deal #26 not #17.

I mean that’s what you would lead with but I don’t see the Knicks taking that. But maybe they would

I could see the Knicks, if serious about dumping salary for Brunson, doing a dump including the pick. Rox? Mebbe Knixies happier elsewhere? Burke, Noel, Kemba? There are lotsa pieces they want to dump out of.

Can someone remind me of the other Euro draft and stash options other than Jovic?
