Not.Even.Close. Have you ever heard of efficiency? Aside from their size, (at least Gordon knows how to use his body on defense) they are nothing alike.
he played 56 games, 106-291 from the 3pt land, which is only 20 less the season before when he only started 4 more games.. imo hes not a franchise changer.. IU didnt win anything, Clips didnt, and NO he barely played..
You need more than one good player to win in the NBA...You cant expect him to carry an entire team all by himself. LeBron, Wade, and Bosh needed crazy games by Mario Chalmers, Shane Battier, and Mike Miller to pull off the championship. You think if you remove Westbrook and Harden from the Thunder that Durant would be a "winner"? Of course he wouldnt. Regardless, Gordon is a career 45% shooter from the field, 37% from 3 pt land, and 80% from the stripe. All excellent numbers. The last thing Gordon is, is a chucker, like you stated. He is a very efficient offensive player and one of the best shooting guards in the NBA.
Those all could go to a different team and make that team better...With Lebron, Wade and Durant being capable changing a franchise. And i stand corrected by saying chucker, what i was trying to say was he was the top scorer on 4 bad teams, hes not a franchise type guy, who gets max money
Are there any realistic reasons why NO would not match the Max for Gordon. I apologize somewhere in this thread some gives it , I couldn't find it
Gordon is a star player. A player who can be counted to close out games, something we haven't had for a while.
I don't think NO will match. Austin Rivers just won't be a successful pg in the league. He needs to be a shooting guard. I think that both the Hornets and NO know this. I really think we have a great shot at Gordon and I would gladly give him the max in a sign and trade. Martin+Patterson+Morris would be awesome.
I was saying that your argument about him "not winning anything" was dumb. There are plenty of players in the league that I would love(SWIDT?) to see on the Rockets that fit that description.
Yes. Correct answer. Max SNT for Morey to entice them to go through with it. Easy on them and they get something out of it.
The first one. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/6bWixIgwkhs" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
He closed out the Rockets season, when he single handily dominated them in the 4th quarter to end their playoff hopes.
